No Baby Gate Will Keep This Kid From The Living Room, Not Even Two Stacked Baby Gates

Submitted by: fancylad 6 months ago in Funny

I wanted to hate this kid for being defiant, but how can you pissed off at that smile at the end? Although, it's all fun and games until he falls on his head, severs his spinal cord, and he wastes the rest of his life in a wheelchair.

This reminds me of my brother a bit. He was a bit of an escape artist when he was toddler. He would be able to find his way out of his crib and and his car seat. It was also to his advantage that he was a skinny kid. It drove our parents crazy during this time.

when your kid is agile enough to do that, you have to acknowledge that:
  1. the gate does not do its job anymore
  2. it only adds more safety hazard
Time to remove it.

My son never tried to climb it. He found out quickly that if he rammed it with enough momentum for long enough, one side will eventually let go. It was funny on the downstairs gate but wayyy too unsafe on the upstairs one...

A bit of razor wire at the top will fix that little problem.
