Trump's senior adviser Kellyanne Conway got caught blaming two Iraqis for a made-up terrorist attack in Kentucky -- she calls it the Bowling Green Massacre.
This is how she described in an interview with MSNBC's Chris Matthews...
"I bet it's brand new information to people that President Obama had a six-month ban on the Iraqi refugee program after two Iraqis came here to this country, were radicalized and they were the masterminds behind the Bowling Green massacre. It didn't get covered."
The Bowling Green massacre didn't get covered because there's no such thing as the Bowling Green massacre -- the FBI confirms it. Also, Obama didn't ban the Iraqi refugee program.
But according to Conway, it may be the biggest terror attack since 9/11. Maybe the Bowling Green massacre is one of those never-reported terrorist incidents pushed aside by the that Trump likes to bring up.
This wasn't the first time Conway cited the "Bowling Green Massacre" -- she's carted it out before. She got a lot of heat over the weekend for what she's calling a mistake ("I misspoke one word."), except she's mentioned the Bowling Green terrorist attack before.
She mentioned it once to "Cosmopolitan" magazine in 2011, and then again in an interview on January 29, 2017. My guess is that she told herself, and others, the Bowling Green lie so much (and never got called out on it), she started using it as fact to back up her flimsy case. Additional w/b: fancylad
