This Korean Vendor Turns A Small Block Of Hardened Honey Into 16,000 Honey Strings

Submitted by: theman01 4 months ago in Entertainment

An inexpensive snack, entertainment, and a quick math lesson? This fellow gets the Vendor of the Month award. This candy is also called Dragon's beard candy, just in case you're ever in Korea and you want to give it a try.

Do me a favor?

If you're sick and tired of 5Cats'--

  • constant berating of other IAB'ers
  • foul mouth ("cunt-face" this, "fucktard" that), and
  • never-ending stream of disinformation
then please give an UPVOTE to my "The gloves have come off" comment in THIS thread.

J-Dog and Fancylad seem to be under the misapprehension that most of the IAB community thinks 5Cats is amusing. They need to get the message that many IAB'ers have left because of 5Cats and those of us still here are sick of him.

So please: Upvote the comment if you're tired of IAB catering to 5Cats' bullshit. Many thanks.

squrlz4ever 5Cats is the absolute only reason I have left IAB for months at a time. He's also the reason I don't participate as much as I used to.

I accept stupid. People are born stupid and they can't help it. The arrogance with which he throws around his stupidity is what I find so disgusting.

I have point blank asked fancylad why he lets him run rampant with content and bullshit on several occasions and have never gotten an answer. I get that it is good for page views but at what cost?

fancylad clearly is not happy Trump was elected. It is a direct result of the spread of misinformation that occurred on social media and the wall to wall Trump coverage because he was good for ratings. The websites and news media that gave birth to this abomination for good ratings and clicks have to own the next 4 years. By allowing 5Cats and others to post the bullshit that was posted on here from sites as despicable as infowars fancylad needs to own the fact that he was directly part of the problem. He allows the spread of misinformation. He helped elect Trump.

holygod The best I can determine, Fancylad promotes 5Cats because he thinks it makes the website more varied and all the commotion is good for traffic. Like you, I think he needs to re-examine that approach.

I liken it to a person who's throwing a party every weekend--and for some reason, insists on making sure his boorish, loudmouth, jerk of a friend is always standing on a pedestal right in the middle of the party. After awhile, people start leaving the party early. And since the host insists on promoting his friend at these events, the guests start finding other parties to attend. Suddenly, the host finds that a lot of his would-be guests have other plans.

My suggestions? J-Dog and Fancylad should stop encouraging 5Cats and stop posting his submissions. I'd also appoint a moderator to enforce some level of decorum in the threads. (Not me, thank you; it's a thankless, unpaid job. Been there, done that, and resigned.)

This whole blow-up of mine with 5Cats has occurred larrgely because the site has no moderation, there's nothing to check 5Cats, and I was sick of seeing his behavior steadily grow worse and worse.

holygod I can't disagree. Those are some really good points and I hope Fancylad gives them some consideration.

You can get these in Indonesia, and some parts of Southern California as well. I'm not a big fan, but my g/f LOVES them.
