The Temperature of The USA Three Days After...

Submitted by: lalapancakes 1 year ago in News & Politics

So where is the United States three days after Donald Trump confused the fuck out of the world?

I am trying my best to hold out hope that he'll actually not be the monster everyone's freaking out about but so far all I'm seeing is a climate change lobbyist is headed for the Department of Energy, Ben Carson for the Department of Education, and then his fucking voters, man...

One cunt in San Jose put his hands on a girl wearing a hijab...

... Another aggressively confronted a woman using sign language in a coffee shop...

... There's the KKK parade in North Carolina, and then my friend found a lovely note about being "faggity" on his car this Thursday morning.

Things are shaping up for some serious conflict.

P.S. here are some last minute additions...

IT'S A FAKE!! The 'grabbed hijab' woman recants her story, admits she MADE IT UP. I'm putting that story (with a round-up of MORE faked stories) into submissions. >>> Ok, it might be 2x different 'hijab hate' stories that were fabricated/enhanced to make Trump look responsible. Not necessarily the one presented above. Anyhow, more fakes than real ones out there, as usual!!

Poor snowflakes with little anecdotal stories to show how evil the "other" side is.

My friend's note is not a plant. Ya'll need to listen to yourselves. Just stop and listen.

The note is 'real' but there's nothing at all to prove it was placed there by a Trump supporter. WHY would any Trump supporter DO such a thing? Why harm their own cause in the moment of victory? >>> There have been and continue to be dozens of cases where it is proven that Democrats FAKE these sorts of things and that's a fact. Add to that organized riots with an eager MSM searching high and low for negative Trump stories and it makes perfect sense that faked 'outrages' are far more likely than real ones.

Agreed. There's no way to prove someone didn't plant it just to make a point and there's enough idiocy being perpetrated by both sides that it could be just that. BUT...while I don't see that Trump supporters are, in general, homophobic/misogynistic/racist assholes (my daughter voted for him, in fact), I do believe that those type of people found him more to their liking than Clinton and may now feel enabled by his victory.

Most of these turn out to be attention seeking idiots who make shit up. The San Jose one sounded familiar...very similar to story out of Louisiana this week...which the 'victim' has since admitted she made up.

That sounds like Echo chamber B.S. that I'm trying to avoid. I like Mike Rowe's take on it better. Mike Rowe post on FB

Thank you for that post. It was refreshing to have a personality that most Americans would say is a stand up guy cut through the bias and stereotypes and calmly explain why this isn't the end of the world. Here is another view from a Trump voter who doesn't fit the stereotype. http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/opinion/commentary/ct-muslim-woman-voted-donald-trump-20161110-story.html

Some of these look like obvious fabrications, the last one is by a person most likely to be a liberal Democrat 'showing what will happen' not saying it is good, yes? Meanwhile RIOTS and rent-a-mobs similar to BLM are in dozens of US cities and IAB doesn't want to talk about it. Just pretend there aren't THOUSANDS of examples of liberal-leftists attacking people, vandalizing and rioting, and concentrate on the story of ONE GUY getting yelled at by a single ignorant person who may well be a Hillary supporter 'provoking' the unrest from Repubs they claim would happen but still has not... really now, Starbucks are filled with hate-filled Republican red-necks now? Not a single hipster dares enter them? Really?

Yeah. A lot of stupidity going on from both sides. It's a shame. Makes the USA look even stupider.

I have no doubt there are many a-holes out there but never, ever discount agent provocateurs, they were evident during the election run up and there is no reason to believe they will quietly go away.
