Why Didn't Hillary Speak To Her Supporters On Election Night?

Submitted by: 5cats 7 months ago in News & Politics

It is the only time I can recall where the losing candidate in a US Presidential election did NOT speak to their loyal followers after the concession phone call. Yet mainstream media is utterly silent about this? Why didn't Hillary come down from her hotel room and say a few words? Why did she send a flunky (one whose e-mails were hacked) to give the bad news? Unprecedented!

Well, her allegedly long-noted drinking problem she is being the cause for reason. This has been spoken of for decades now, that not only is she a frequent drunk, but she gets really mean and violent while she's at it. (Again, all allegedy -- I-A-B can't afford a lawsuit. --@Fancylad)

Even the MSM admits there's a possibility she threw lamps and screamed at anyone nearby in an out of control rage. Oddly? That's the exact same "possible behavior" she allegedly carried out after Bill got caught with his penis in Monica's mouth. Not that she was mad he had a mistress, she knew he'd had several affairs, hundreds of hookers and many mistresses before, some for 10+ years. She was only enraged because he got caught...

And here:

And here's another look at her behaviour:

I just figured she didn't give a speech because they had to sedate her. In this case she looks like she sedated herself.

Poor winners are much worse than poor losers. She lost Trump one accept the victory and cheer him on or not but to keep attacking her now is approaching obsession.

She couldn't get in front of a mic and do what every other losing candidate does, concede graciously. Lost of people busted their asses supporting you Hill...and you couldn't step up and thank them. I don't know why but I do know that you didn't do the decent thing. Just another example of it's all about you.

She showed her true colours that night! Actually she shows them often, but it gets covered up, excused or passed off as something else ;-p But it is difficult to conjure up an excuse for not doing the BASIC COMMON DECENCY of thanking your supporters...

I agree that she didn't handle it well on election night. From what I've read, the loss hit her like a ton of bricks and she was sobbing uncontrollably for hours. Apparently an old friend of hers in Arkansas received a call from her and said Clinton was crying so wildly it was impossible to understand her. I'm not a Hillary Clinton fan, but I do feel some sympathy. She had to be thinking,  "My God, I stuck with Bill, I was pushed back eight years by Obama, who came out of nowhere--this was to be my turn. Every prediction had me winning this with a healthy margin--and now I'm finished!"  Her thinking that the presidency was her due, so to speak, was a major part of the problem and why I didn't like voting for her. I'll say this for her, though: Hillary Clinton's concession speech the next day was superb. In losing the presidency, she gave what may have been the best political speech of her career.

So she fell to pieces LIKE A LITTLE GIRL you say? Lolz!! With 18 oz of Scotch to help that along I think. >>> They have a 'purple marriage' I guess you aren't aware of it. Bill had mistresses from the 1st month after they got hitched, and Hillary knew all about them. They are rarely in the same State, nevermind the same bedroom! Been that way for 30 years? Since he lost the Governorship. >>> Again: those insider, tell-all books repeatedly say Bill slept in one room and Hillary far far away from that... and both had a parade of girls coming in and out :-p

I'll also point out that even Trump cut Clinton some slack on this subject, acknowledging the next day that making the concession phone call must have been terribly difficult for Hillary Clinton, that she handled it well, and that he'd have struggled himself if he were in her position. I thought that was gracious of Trump--presidential even--and it made me think more highly of him. So let's try to learn from that good example.

Well, the third video pretty much explains where 5Cats gets his language from. The guy sounds like he's reading one of 5Cats's usual comments. WORST-EVER, ASHAMED, CRIMINAL, DISGUSTING, et cetera, et cetera. I'm sorry, but listening to this kind of toxic commentary is unhealthy for the mind. I could manage only a couple minutes of it, and not because of the politics--because of the sneering hatred.

Squrlz4: You've managed to miss the past 15 months or so of the MSM saying horrific things about every single Republican nominee? Not just some individual 'blogger' but the entire MSM Empire: every single talking head, every single 'guest commenter' spewed out the DNC talking-points, raw and unfiltered. You should hear what the CBC says every day about Trump, for months now! >>> If an opinion blogger wants to talk like that? He is free to do so. The Media is supposed to present the unbiased facts, opinions should be clearly labeled as such. That line vanished between 1980 and 1992... journalism is dead in America. The MSM is the propaganda arm of one party only, just like Canada's CBC is. If you think this language is bad? You better not watch CNN or CBC...

I don't think this language is bad. It is bad.  I'm going to tell you some truths out of concern for your own well-being. Whether you'll be able to actually consider them and benefit from them, God only knows. This Next News Network content is deplorable and toxic for the mind. You have stated several times on here that you have mental illness. I've observed you writing on here for years and have watched how you interact with others. I'm not a doctor, so this is obviously not a diagnosis. But it is an observation. I see signs in you of mania, disordered thinking, and paranoia. I think you almost certainly suffer from some form of bipolar disorder and may possibly have low-grade schizophrenia. Spending hours a day watching this kind of hate-filled content is not good for anyone--and particularly not good for you. If you were my brother, I'd tell you the exact same thing, with about the same level of concern. Stop watching and listening to this mind-rot. If you want to read conservative viewpoints, by all means read The Wall Street Journal, The National Review Online, The Weekly Standard, The American Spectator, and The Christian Science Monitor. All of these publications make the conservative case intelligently and in a way that's likely to expand your capacity to think and not diminish it. Reading those publications you're likely to become healthier as a human being, and not more full of hate, full of anxiety, and full of rage. But the kind of media you're showing in this post? Stay away from this kind of poison.  ....  Also: Everything I've written so far is out of genuine, brotherly concern for you. What follows is out of concern for this website. The vast majority of people visiting IAB are not obsessed with politics and recognize toxic hate speech for what it is. Any attempts you make to spread this kind of Next News Network poison on here will be vigorously rebuffed by me. It's sickening content and has no place on a website frequented by adults with healthy minds. I have no problem whatsoever with conservative views and voices. I have a big problem, however, with toxic hate speech. Squrlz out.

Squrlz4: I'll go look for you lecturing... reminding... LaLa about HER obsession with HATE for Trump... Nope! Can't seem to find any! Someone flooding the Postings with Trump-hate gets no rebuke from you, but my ONE Post which has 'angry words' in it 'triggers your concern' eh? Just making sure I have it right. I'm obsessed, but others who do far more and more often and more filled with hate are a-ok. Because you agree with that hate, and want to defend Hillary. Got it.

5Cats, I've known you for years; I've known LaLa for a couple months. I don't have a very good sense of LaLa just yet, but if I had to summarize her in a few observations, I'd say "smart, very liberal, and feisty." I have never gotten the impression from her of obsession or mania that I sometimes get from your posts. If I did,  I'd probably reach out to her in the way I have to you. If you want to discuss this further, it might be best to switch over to private messages. Send me a friend request and I'll happily accept and we can dialogue further with more privacy. Thanks.
