More Cops Were Shot -- This Time In Texas, Missouri And Florida

cop-killers-november-2016

With the recent news of three more cops shot and killed in Texas, Missouri, and Florida, the total number of dead cops in the month of November is 12, and we still have another week to go. You'd think this would be bigger news, right? A nation up in arms? I mean, many Conservative Americans went batshit crazy when their VP-elected was directly spoken to after a presentation of "Hamilton," but you'll be hard pressed to find the same conservatives angry over 12 cops, killed in cold blood while on the job. I mean, police officers and conservatives go hand in hand, right?

Why aren't cop killers trending on Twitter? Why aren't the cold-blooded deaths of cops on the job the lead story everywhere you turn? Mic thinks there's something to the fact that 8 out of the 9 captured cop killers for the month of November are white men.

I'm not sure if this is the case -- it could be that this just isn't a subject Conservatives are interested at the moment, but the question should be asked: What if the 9 cop killers were made up of Black and Hispanic men?

It's very interesting how Breitbart (as shown in the short clip down below) reported on these recent cop killings: When the black guy was suspected of killing a San Antonio cop on November 20, it was reported as a "black man" who "executed" a cop. When a white man was suspected of killing a cop, it was reported on November 2 as Scott Michael Greene killed two cops -- no one was executed in that one. Same for all the other white cop killers.

Zeegrr60 Well if you look at some scholars translations of the bible it reads "Tho shalt not commit murder" puts a hole other spin on it.

It's funny to me that cops murder and walk away free,99% of the time-no charges. Kill a cop-and they all go fucking nuts-killing more innocent people. I guess when you pay people to kill people, it's o.k. Just a side note for the religious Idiots: 10 commandments say "Thou Shalt not Kill" -NOT "Shall shall not kill unless you're a cop or if there's a war". No, It just simply says "Thou shalt not Kill".

I don't think any outrage has to do with killing cops specifically, but how and why they were killed.  We all know that being a cop is dangerous, sometimes the bad guys are armed and it is no surprise when a cop gets shot.  It is different when a cop is killed, not while trying to stop a crime, but completely by random from someone who is angry over an incident the cop has nothing to do with. If I were to watch the news and see a report about a lady in a city 500 miles away, who was raped and beaten by a black guy, then decided to mete out justice by finding some random black guy and shooting him; you would rightly think I was a horrible person who deserved to be thrown in jail for the rest of my life.  No one would blame me for being angry about the rape, even though I don't know the victim, but to go out and shoot someone who has nothing to do with it just because he resembles the rapist is unthinkable.  Yet if a black guy sees the news about another black guy 500 miles away being shot by a cop, then goes out and shoots a random  person just because he also happens to be a cop, the media justifies his murder because he is a "victim" of racism.  The cop killer doesn't have any idea about the circumstances in the shooting, except what the media presents, doesn't know the shooter nor the person killed, yet feels justified in killing any cop he sees.  It is not just infuriating because a cop was killed, but also that society deems it as racism to criticize the shooter.  Usually said "You think it is okay for a white cop to shoot a black person, but you get upset when a black person shoots a white cop.  You must be a racist!"  No, I'm okay with an officer of the law killing anyone that is threatening the life or safety of himself or others around him, but have problems with a person just killing another person at random because he just happens to be a cop, regardless of race.

I think it's horrible that these police were shot, they risk their lives everyday for us and here they paid the ultimate price for it because of some losers who didn't want to go to jail. The race of the shooter means little as the officers are still dead regardless, which is the point of why it's horrible. If the issue is that the race of the shooter is important to understanding a trend or pattern that can be corrected to help save lives, then hey lets have a talk about it. Yet I'll be honest, I'm not really outraged though that the media isn't covering it. The media is slanted crap and we all know it. The media hardly covers any atrocities or any major issue really, not unless it has some sort of political spin to it. Hell take this post and the video, they're trying to use the police shootings that it says we should be outraged about, to insinuate that conservatives are somehow hypocritical and that they really don't care about the police officers lives as much as race. Take a real tragedy that impacted real people and use it to shoot little poo-balls at people on the other side of the political isle. The police killings take a back seat to trying to twist the knife a little deeper in your political opponents. I guess by the methodology used in the post all of us on this site really don't care about the 75 firefighters who died this year. Where was that on our front page? I guess we don't care about the hundreds of innocent civilians that were killed as collateral damage by our drone strikes this year? That's not too frequent on our front page. In my opinion, Mic and his ilk can shove it, I think these police killings are vile but I'm not going to live my life in a constant state of made up outraged at every atrocity that doesn't make it to the front page of every major media source because someone somewhere might think I'm a bad person if I don't. If you truly want to make things better in this world start by adopting views and solutions based on reality instead of emotionality.

What 'conservative outrage' (or lack thereof) are you talking about Fancylad? Like when those old white men RIOTED in outrage across America when a Black Guy shot a White Cop that one time last year? Man, those riots! All those outraged conservatives burning and looting. Remember those? ...oh wait! That NEVER happened! Nothing remotely like Ferguson or all those other riots the liberal-leftist BLM/SJW organized! And a hell of a lot more cops were shot (or stabbed/injured) by Blacks than the % of the population would indicate. So what the actual fuck are you talking about? >>> 'Right Wing Bloggers' Are ALL OVER this and cover EACH COP's story, history, background and the killer/shooter REGARDLESS of the race of the Cop or the killer/shooter. So again, wtf dude? How about looking at why the MSM is in 'complete embargo mode' as cop after cop gets shot?

My apologies to @trimble -- he just submitted the URL, I tweaked the header, sub-header, and all of the text in the post. I just forgot to write a byline. Hey, I'm away on vacation and was slightly hungover this morning.

I was expecting for it to be submitted by NormalFreak until I saw your name. I would say this is bullshit that the right only cares when a cop is killed if he's killed by a black guy. However, it is just as equally bullshit that the left only cares when a cop kills an unarmed man if the unarmed man is black. @fancylad played it pretty close to the vest for the last few years but this Trump thing has brought out the full screaming liberal in him. ;)

I am outraged as anyone should be, conservative, liberal or otherwise and it should not matter one bit what color anyone is or how anyone reports the news (if anyone has not learned to take any and all media and their commentary with a grain of salt then stay in your bubble), and submitted the post as a reminder of what a dangerous and thankless job police officers have.

I don't see it anywhere on the front page of Breitbart, Drudge, or Blaze. However, when the cops were shot by black men it was a HUGE story on all 3. Which fake news site do you get your news from?
