What Happened to The Muslim Men Who Were Shot in Minneapolis?

This past July, a report came out of a shooting of two Muslim men in Minneapolis. Revisiting the story, the shooter is some piece of shit skinhead looking "lone wolf" named Anthony John Sawina. What’s more offensive is he is only potentially getting seven years in prison for trying to kill a group of people. I'm trying to imagine how much of a shit storm the media would whip up if this incident's player roles were reversed.

An excerpt from KSTP:

“The shooting was reported at 2:30 a.m. June 29 near the intersection of 14th Avenue Southeast and Sixth Avenue Southeast in Minneapolis, which is near the University of Minnesota.

Five Somali men told police they were playing basketball in the area and encountered a group of people leaving a nearby bar. One person in the group said, “What’s that dress you’re wearing?” referring to the traditional clothing one of the victims was wearing for the month of Ramadan, according to the criminal complaint.

The victims were about to leave when one of the men said, “F*** Muslims,” according to the criminal complaint. One of the victims asked the man why he would say that, and then two of the men approached the vehicle.

According to the criminal complaint, 26-year-old Anthony John Sawina of Lauderdale drew a handgun and began firing. Two of the victims were hit in their lower legs, police say.”

Really? Caucasaphobia? This article doesn't incite fear of white people, it exposes the fact that there are skinheads in Minneapolis.

I wasn't commenting on the article, but rather the comments made in the intro on the main page.

Am I missing something? Where in this post does it say that the guy is "Christian"? Regardless, I do have to agree with one point made here. If roles had been reversed, and the Somalis had shot the white guy, this would've been blown way out of proportion by the news media. I have been in this general area of Minnesota a few times, and some of the Somalis seem to keep a wary eye toward white people at all times. I guess I really can't blame them. They receive more than their fair share of persecution and hatred, but it is rarely reported on, or even mentioned.

It says he fired at them "presumably for daring to not be white and/or Christian" in the description on the main page.
