Trump Is Immune To Democrat Trash-Talking Because It's All They Do

Chris Cillizza cannot recall "a consistent drumbeat of accusations about racism, sexism, demagoguery or facism" before Trump began his run for the US Presidency even though he himself did plenty of it in the past. This is in response to this Frank Bruni article in the New York Times pointing out how nasty things have already become. The left have been screaming insults like "Nazi, Racist, Sexist, Fascist, Warmonger" and more for so long? No one pays attention anymore when they 'cry wolf.'

If the New York Times admits the rhetoric is both excessive, one sided and ineffective? It must be pretty obvious to the rest of us. And it is.

Hillary is not a Liberal wow, I was completely fooled by her calling her self a Progressive. Personally I would put her closer to Socialist but that's just me.

She's a fascist, a real one, not the make-believe kind Democrats see under every rock. Of course fascists are neither 'left or right' in truth, but almost always claim to be leftists progressives, as does Hillary. Listen to her talk about how she'll 'tax wall street' and stuff, that's liberal lip service. I don't hear Trump saying such lies. She pretends to be a liberal, and runs for a party that pretends to be liberals, pretending to champion liberal causes: so we call them liberals. duh!

I never said Obama was a fascist before he got elected: I said he was a Marxist and an idiot, and he was. I never said Kerry was a fascist, he was a liar and a fake. I never said Bill Clinton was a fascist, I said he was untrustworthy and a liar, and he was. But every single Republican candidate gets the same hate-labels slapped on them every single time, that's what this article accurately points out. (They did it to Palin because McCain really was immune! That is the same thing though.)

Odd I don't see you critizing any of the Previous GOP Presidents/nominees? I guess they were perfect in your eyes or their flaws didn't exist!

Also boring. And predictable. And unable to admit when you are clearly 100% wrong, like in this thread where you "quote" the wrong guy and slander ME for "not reading it". I did read it, and actually comprehended what was said, unlike yourself. W said that, not B (the author) and it was an illustration of a stupid attack against T, not B making or supporting such an observation. Grow up already. I can no longer take you seriously, I don't wish to feed your trolling any longer.

@normalfreak2: Again I tell you: I don't need to point out their flaws: the MSM and the IAB Liberals will do that in Spades, even if they have to invent shit. No imperfection is too tiny, or too imagined, to not report it 24/7 from every tower. >>> If you didn't see me criticize GOP people before? You are truly blind. Or have selective amnesia, like your Queen does. No, we are not 'making that up' SHE says so, deal with it. I've criticized Trump plenty of times, he's FAR from my choice to run, but he's one of the few ACTUAL change promising candidates. Unlike Hillary, who has promised more of the same, double even! More debt! More Obamacare! More taxes! More corruption! Fuck the US Constitution, she'll rule by decree just like Obama does! & etc. >>>And once again: my opinions of GOP persons has NOT ONE TINY THING to do with my opinion, and the facts, about Hillary. Again: you are a troll to constantly bring that up, so desperate to change the subject it's sickening.

I don't think it's a right or left thing. And Gay marriage SHOULD be a conservative point. It's about less Government. See you are confused, maybe you do have Amnesia or a Concussion? You seem to have forgotten or don't know what a "Conservative" really is?

@5cats Did you miss this in the article you posted? “It’s only when you find yourself describing someone who really is the definition of an extremist — who really is, essentially, in my opinion, a fascist — that you recognize that the language that you’ve used in the past to describe other people was hyperbolic and inappropriate and cheap,

"It's only when... " @normalfreak2 You are truly ignorant: HE IS QUOTING SOMEONE ELSE who said that. The article writer (Bruni) did NOT say it, ok? Don't be such an ignorant fuck for once and do admit your mistake. Wolfson, who actually said it, is saying this ABOUT TRUMP for fuck's sake. Bruni quotes it as EVIDENCE for his claim of excessive rhetoric against Trump, and it applies! So you are dead wrong, yet again, and spent all this time WHINING about something that simply did not exist. It's about time I started not paying attention to your lies, you have become a full-blown clown.

Uhhh I know he didn't say it. Bruni however, was trying to express the point of Wolfson. A Democrat gone Republican, gone Independent. Bruni was pointing out Wolfson's point. That all the crying foul in the past with hyperbole has led to the Climate of Trump where those legitimate definitions that do apply to Trump dont' stick because they were misused in the past. Exactly what did I get wrong here?

@normalfreak2 Um, that's not how the English language works. He quoted that man to illustrate how Trump was BEING attacked. Not that Wolfson 'had a valid point'. NOT that B agreed with W's opinion OF TRUMP. W's comment is dripping with irony, and while what W is saying may be true for himself? He intended it to mean the OPPOSITE of the point Bruni's article is making. W's saying Trump really IS ALL those things, while B is saying that is just re-hashed hyperbolae, illustrated by this quotation OF hysteria. Thus Bruni did NOT say that, as you claimed, does not 'agree that Trump really IS a fascist' and thus you attacked me based on your mistaken belief. >>> It's not a fucking "legitimate definition" of Trump, it's a fucking liberal OPINION. An opinion may be your fact, but not for others. To demand others only hold you opinions is... fascism. You are doing it, not Trump. >>> You continue to 'double down' and continue to get simple facts WRONG. I will no longer take you seriously in the future. You make OBVIOUS mistakes such as this and flat-out refuse to even admit it? Never mind any form of apology for your false insinuations & accusations. You are boring now, so grow up, man-up or shut up.

They are talking about the demonization of candidates based on Hyperbole. Which is exactly what the Conservatives do to Hillary. They are calling her a Liberal, when really a Liberal is Bernie Sanders. There's a world of difference between what the Conservatives smear Clinton as compared to someone who actually are those things. Same goes for some of the people on the Left about candidates on the right. Romney wasn't that bad of a guy, nor was Mccain.

@5cats And you don't read the articles you post instead you infer all sorts of information that isn't actually there. Instead you just spout out what you think in your head regardless of the facts presented. It's really hard to have a conversation with someone who can't even acknowledge the simplest of information that doesn't come from his own brain.

@normalfreak2 You cannot even tell when the writer of the article is quoting someone else, shut your ignorant mouth. Unless it is to apologize, since I had read the article front top to bottom and easily understood that quoting someone (Wolfson) attacking Trump is not the same as the writer (Bruni) holding that opinion himself. You cannot BE that dumb, you must be pretending to be that stupid on purpose. That would make you a troll, and no longer worth replying to, ok? Apologize or begone.

No it's not, nothing I pointed out is the definition of No True Scotsman. I'm not saying The left doesn't or hasn't demonized "Conservatives" in the past. you need to understand the definitions of words before you start spouting nonsense out.

Hillary is being held to facts. She lied, she cheated, she accepted bribes, she attacked women who accused her husband (rightly) of rape. & etc. She is a career criminal. You (as usual) have it ass-backwards. What else to expect from a 'jackass' (Democrat Loyalist). >>> Isn't he referring to the hyperbolae of the left in your bitching above? Isn't THAT what the topic here is? If you want to moan about other shit? Post your own topics, stop desperately trying to change the subject in the posts of others. That's just cowardice... >>> McCain was a hero, and a VERY moderate Republican with a long history of working with Democrats. So he was only vilified as a racist, not the rest of the usual rhetoric (which you don't deny, just falsely claim 'the right does it too' without a shred of evidence or the courage to make your own post about it) and so the MSM assaulted Palin for being a female, fascist, woman-hater, Nazi & etc. The whole ball of wax. I remember it all very clearly, I don't have amnesia, dude.

"and so the MSM assaulted Palin for being a female, fascist, woman-hater, Nazi & etc." Please provide facts instead of opinion. "I remember it all very clearly, I don't have amnesia, dude." I question that. Or maybe a concussion instead of Amnesia. "Isn't he referring to the hyperbole of the left in your bitching above? Isn't THAT what the topic here is?" No if you read the article it was addressing the disrespect and discourse in American Politics. Also with all the accusations of previous Conservatives calling them racists etc now that according to the person who wrote the article, the GOP Presidential nominee expresses racists comments, IS a fascist. Now that the left has been crying wolf now it doesn't work on the guy who is actually all the things they called Moderate Republicans.
