Trey Gowdy Calls James Comey Out Over Light Clinton Ruling

FBI Director James Comey today during a US House hearing on the idea that Gen. David Petraeus was prosecuted for “far less” of a crime than what Hillary Clinton did with her private email server:

“His conduct, to me, illustrates the categories of behavior that mark the prosecutions that are actually brought -- clearly intentional conduct, knew what he was doing was a violation of the law,” huge amounts of information that, even if you couldn’t prove he knew it, it raises the inference that he did it. An effort to obstruct justice."

We will whimper and whine but in the end her fat ass will be in the chair in the Oval Office. Brace yourselves for four yes of that smirk "I beat the rap, chumps!". I miss Obama already.

the Clintons have ALWAYS been in the spotlight for criminal controversies since the 1970's. would love to see at least one of them finally not be able to evade justice.

Slow clap, that was pretty on point by the Republican. If you do the crime she should do the time. It seems the FBI's findings were that her missteps were of a minimal nature and of no significance to national security...however that should be factored in on sentencing, not on whether or not she is even charged. Step up to the podium Bernie Sanders.

Oh BTW: her server WAS hacked. Someone released a thousand or more of the e-mails they say came off her private server. They could only have done this through hacking. Remember: Hillary did NOT release her e-mails at all, she PRINTED them on paper and gave the courts that, then scrubbed her drives. So it couldn't be someone got the released documents from other sources: only her server had them. Every word on this subject she has told the public and the courts has been a lie. And Dems want her to be the President...

Everyone knows she's guilty of many crimes. SHE knows! She's admitted to doing many things that (in fact) are criminal. Her own e-mails, the ones she didn't delete, document her criminal behaviour. Lord knows what the deleted ones would tell us! And yes, she deleted thousands of work-related e-mails, deliberately. >>> Comey's claim that she was TOO STUPID to understand the technology and therefor is IMMUNE to prosecution is bogus: the laws involve clearly say that even un-intentional mishandling of classified documents is a crime. And even 'politifact' has to admit she absolutely did send and receive documents marked as classified while in office. >>> Oh, and she lied about it while under oath, as well as to the American public. Just like her perjurer husband!

@5cats First off, you are wrong. 100% wrong. Seconly, there is no crime here. I'm outraged by that. There is no law that can be criminally cited and be used to charge Hillary with. She lied in public statements, and that's a big deal. Being held criminally isn't the same as what you think it is. Believe me that's a problem. and this may have doomed any other Presidential hopeful IF ONLY Trump wasn't the opposition parties nominee.

Except that simple possession of classified documents on an illegal drive is, in fact, a crime. She had what, 1,600 of them? >>> Deleting documents under court orders is a crime, she deleted over 1000 of them that they've found so far. >>>Except she lied under oath, which is Felony Perjury, which is a crime. >>> Except that actions she freely admits to have done, and which are now proven she did, are and were illegal both then and now. Her OWN admission is that she committed crimes but "didn't intend to". >>> And dozens more, quit trolling us nf2, it's disgusting how you whore yourself. You are a joke now.

It is possible that the people she was working with were not communicating to her what exactly was and was not classified (and if so, how). If that's the case then it's still outrageous that none of her affiliates and colleauges are going to face any reprimands or sanctions for their misconduct. So far all we know she downloaded documents that were classified and were supposed to be marked as such but weren't because the a-holes she was working weren't saying so.

It’s pretty damn clear she committed perjury while testifying before a congressional committee. I realize that to a Clinton (and their lemmings) that is not a crime, but it in fact is.
