9 Dead As Man Goes On Shooting Spree At A Munich Shopping [Video+]

Submitted by: fancylad 11 months ago in News & Politics

Munich, Germany is currently on lockdown after a gunman opened fire at a shopping centre, killing nine people and injuring a few others -- police are warning that one or more attackers may be on the loose in the area. Again, sorry for the quality of video up above, but since this is breaking news, there's not a whole lot of clean video out there yet.

The latest news that has been confirmed is that Munich police are reporting that there were three shooters, but the one in the video above is said to have killed himself with a gunshot to the head, as reported by The Guardian -- they're covering this live.

Quick question: Who took the video up above? The camera was running before the shooter even started firing off rounds.

This shooting incident comes hot off the heels of another German tragedy -- when Riaz Khan Ahmadzai hacked up a bunch of people in a German train, leaving two in serious condition.

He was an eighteen year old man from Iran who lived in Germany for two years. According to a statement they found he has come to his actions because he was bullied for seven years. The worst part of it all is the fact that this shooter and the axe murderer in the train aren't brought in the news as Muslim but as 'disturbed individuals'. Europe is doing its utmost to spin the public opinion away from lone wolf terrorists in our midst to someone who forgot to take his medication and accidentally killed some people. I think we should start sending family off these nutcases back to their original countries. If you can't keep your family member on a leach or fail to warn the authorities in time you are not invested enough in our country to make sure it is safe. You let your rabid dog run free, you may not live here anymore. I have always voted for liberal and democratic parties and have always preached that you shouldn't vote to far from your original beliefs but i can't do it anymore. Sh*t has got to stop.

He was born in Germany, he studied an lived in Germany for is whole life. If you say that he lived in Germany for 2 years and after you say he was bullied for 7 years you must understand that there is something wrong...or not? Anyway Isis is not involved. Who created this situations are the politics of europeans states that for years have thinked that putting huge masses of people in a dark corner would have solved every problem. If you create ghettos you create violence. America have done this for decades and they have the same problems. The family of this boy probably live in struggle everyday and dont even have the strenght to control the son. But who created this situation is not this particular family is the whole situation that is fucked up by bad policies and politics running from years. We allways try to search the enemy elsewhere cause is more confortable than to think that this enemy is behind every corner of our city and who created him are us.

Well, of course, once you go down that route you also start sending back their friends, the work colleagues... in fact anyone who didn't keep them on a leash or report them to the authorities. But why stop there? Why wouldn't the same thing apply to other criminals? Why not imprison the families of murderers? Presumably they're just as guilty as the families of terrorists?

Last I heard there were 3 shooters, all at large but they ran off in separate directions. No word on ethnic background yet. Apparently at least one spoke German... which shouldn't be too shocking eh? Rifles, shotguns, pistols. They were armed to the teeth it seems. No word on bombs yet, I truly hope they capture them in badly shot-up condition :-P but alive.
