Listen, I applaud and supported Bernie in the primaries. He lost the Primary to Clinton. Bear in mind I think those that voted for her would vote for Bernie regardless. I think it's a damn shame that the two parties have such a stranglehold on the political system that no other choices are seriously considered. This system worked when both parties had Liberals, both parties had Conservative elements in them. A lot of these elements have moved to single parties. That's why it's no longer working. That and they stacked the system so far in their favor's no one else can get in. I can't believe it took this long to disassemble this but it goes to show how absolute power can be crippling to progress.

No idea but a friend went to a Sanders rally and was very impressed with the numbers- and the fact he came out to speak. She is a reporter and has been for many years so doesn't impress easily. bit like Corbyn- much grassroots support but the powers that be are not keen. Fuck 'em.... get up, vote..

i wonder if those people in the background had to make a 'donation' to get their '5m of fame with hillary'?

Usually they are select volunteers from a local campaign office, but not always.

exactly right, peopl need to rise up and take back their government, because the elected officials are no longer in charge of the country, it's the folks who have a lot more power than them, and a lot more money/influence

This sort of "MSM Coverage" has been happening since the 60's, but back then it was pretty rare, now it's EVERY FREAKING time. You cannot trust anything the MSM tells or shows you, it is all spin, not news... >>> The "protestors" outside Trump meetings? Many are professionals, they get paid. One Trump organizer said he saw the same core group at several cities, they traveled around to protest! They are the opposite of "grassroots" and are just another example of how far the liberal left has drifted towards fascism in the USA...

I'd love to see some deep investigative journalism on the "paid protestors." I have no doubt they exist, on both sides, but has there ever been any evidence of it really happening? Can anyone suggest a link or a news report?

@5cats -- Would you say that the first Nixon v. Kennedy televised debate started the "MSM coverage"?

You show a picture of a Hillary Clinton rally that is just starting to fill up in some lame attempt to make it appear that they have to zoom in on her to fake like she has packed a house. I easily found plenty of video of protesters being escorted out through a packed crowd at the same event. Whats up with the deceptive spin FancyLad?

Well, that rally isn't going to get very big anyway. It's in a school gymnasium, and at least from the angle given, it is not a very large one.

Well, yeah. The gymnasium wasn't that big but the floor and the bleachers on both sides did fill up. That's why I found it odd that FancyLad was being so deceptive. We all know Hillary doesn't attract the big crowds like Bernie does. There's no need to act like the crowds are even smaller than she actually gets.

markust123 is correct that this was definitely not the full crowd, according to sources like breitbart.com many supporters had to be turned away because the event filled up fast. Most people were sitting on bleachers on the right side of the Gym which is hidden in the photo. The event did attract a lot of pro-Bernie Sanders supporters who protested mainly outside as well. Yet as LA Weekly the protests were mainly organised by hispanic groups like Union del Barrio-LA, MEXA de ELAC and the Los Angeles Brown Berets. ABC reported that her speech was probably shortened to 13 minutes because of the size of the protest outsize. In the beginning of the event some supporters were kept outside so that when Clinton entered she would be seen surrounded by supporters rather than protesters, which could also help explain the picture.
