Your skin does produce vitamin D when exposed to UV light, but you don`t need to go full orange to get enough. Besides, you can get it by other safer means.

There are some skin disorders that can be helped by UV exposure (skin cancer is *not* one of them), but it should be done in a controlled environment with quite precise wavelengths and a sunbed is neither of those. Where in the English-speaking world is that sign legal?

this is obviously for a fake bake salon, but it also obviously reads that general tanning is good for your skin and can prevent skin cancer. quite humorous... mmm... indubitably.

Isn`t this statement based on the idea that if you tan yourself a bit at a time you are more resistant to the full-on blast from the sun and are less likely to get skin cancer that way?

people are however using tanningsalons to insta-bronze them and that causes skincancer (like the full exposure of the unprotected skin to sunlight)

Pretty sure all tanning is bad for you.

People like to pretend the whole "base coat" idea is something other than irradiated, damaged cells that gets flooded with melanin to try to protect you in-spite of yourself.
