A Year Later:

The NOAA`s top-100+ best climate stations: those located in the LEAST influenced areas and thus provide the MOST accurate readings. Spread mostly evenly across the USA:
No Warming At All for the past 8 years (since that particular study began).
None. Maybe a slight drop in temperatures.

This data does NOT need to be "massaged" or "corrected" because it`s the hallmark OTHER data should be measured against!

Just saying: The Science is settled! NO AGW! (Human-caused)

With a "triple minimum" hitting our Sun for the next 15 years? ALL predictions are the temperature will DROP MORE...

But I thought the Sun had NOTHING to do with Earth`s temperature? It was ALL human-caused? :-/

@normalfreak2 My dad was an engineer who helped get us to the moon. He was also instrumental in saving the crew of Apollo 13, and by that I mean, they would have died had he not done his job better than the specs required. He also read Ayn Rand to me when I was a child, and later he was a Reagan delegate to the 1976 RNC.

Most of the people left at NASA now are more interested in promoting a left-wing political agenda than they are in launching rockets.

Right... every conservative is a science denying moron. I`ll just tell that to my father who taught science in an inner city public school for 35 years.

OldOllie, are you really blaming Liberals for not wanting to go into space? Really? I`m pretty sure most liberals aren`t science denying morons. That`s the GOP`s position. Can`t cut the military budget for NASA, cut food stamps instead or any entitlement that affects poor people. Don`t fix tax loopholes, can`t raise taxes on the wealthy, can`t affect corporate subsidies. Man you are a mixed bag of crazy.

@richanddead

I`ll read into your link more later. At work can`t do that now. Looks interesting!

Whitehouse is a nasty liberal prick who couldn`t "school" a 3-year-old on how to wipe his ass. He`s just cherry-picking data, much of which is likely fraudulent, so he can boss people around and take their stuff.

I just about lost it when he said, "How about NASA? We trust them to send our astronauts into space." Uh, last time I checked, they f***ing couldn`t do that. In fact, we have been reduced to sucking Russian dick to get to the International Space Station -- which, BTW, we paid the lion`s share to build -- because these incompetent liberal f***tards at NASA decided that global warming and Muslim outreach were more important than running a f***ing space program. Maybe it`s just as well. The last manned vehicle they built turned out to be a goddamned death trap when not 1 but 2 shuttles -- one third of the entire fleet -- blew the f*** up killing a total of 14 astronauts.

And he`s holding THESE idiots up as authorities on global warming?

Interesting link to that letter. I don`t see the letter as a debunking of global warming and climate change but a refutation of bad science.

Makes me wonder why the temperature readers were placed in obvious hot zones; maybe state rights shenanigans? Seems to me this is similar to defunding the EPA to disable their ability to enforce the clean waters act. Basically let the scientists do science and leave the politics out of human public interests.

Here is a LINK.

And according to NOAA 70.6% of their own temperature measuring stations are still considered in poor or worst condition for accumulating accurate temperature data because they were placed or moved to places like blacktop parking lots and air conditioner units. Some even showed higher heat in the winter time because they were next to electrical transformers.

Oh senator Whitehouse again, you think he would have piped down after he tried to use the 250 deaths from a tornado event as a political gimmick for climate change.

There are numerous scientists who don`t believe AGW and have multiple peer-reviewed papers in the highest journals of science who have not been disproven. I`ve linked plenty of them here and will again if anyone would like to see them.

Since he likes to cite Nasa, perhaps he will accept the position of the dozens of Nasa scientists and former directors who wrote a letter to the current NASA Administrator Charles Bolden admonishing the agency for it`s role in advocating a high degree of certainty that man-made CO2 is a major cause of climate change while neglecting empirical evidence that calls the theory into question.

To quote them "it is clear that the science is NOT settled."

Sorry, I did not see a `schooling` here.

I did hear a fairly decent impersonation of Sylvester the Cat, though.

Starts with an `ad hominem` and gets less logical as it goes...

Heat sinks into the ocean? Bullship. HOW could the ocean get hotter but not the air above it? 93% WTF?

Anyhow, it came out that the "heat measures" ocean temps WERE based on were higher than they ought to have been.
