Ok, I get that CO2 in these contexts would be warmer... but shouldn`t it be sinking?

The honest truth is CO2 isn`t necessarily bad. It helps vegetation a ton. The PROBLEM is the rate of change. That`s a big deal and something we need to figure out. We don`t want to go through a mass extinction event if we can avoid it.

Yes, so? CO2 is a naturally occurring gas. Without it plants would all die.

The shot of the city buildings is just bunkum: CO2 doesn`t "leak out" of closed windows of office towers...

@iansquall is correct: humans and all other mammals breath OUT CO2 as well, and there`s just no stopping that is there? CO2 is part of human existence, whoever is `surprised` by this hasn`t been paying attention...

@5Cats pretty sure the shot of the city you are referring to the CO2 is coming from the cars on the roads, or building exhaust fans doing their job. Stick a couple thousand people in the same building and they do have a noticeable CO2 output.

@ba12348: Oh I agree that buildings produce some CO2, either directly or indirectly.

But keeping in mind this is a SIMULATION of what it "might look like" as opposed to actual footage of real CO2 emissions? That`s why I object to the "scary image" of CO2 spewing from buildings like that... it crosses from informational to being propaganda-like...

@SMRD: You mean Priuses surrounded by bubbles of "smug"? LOLZ!

@draino123: Excellent point! CO is much nastier than CO2, but IDK if it`s as much of a "greenhouse gas" eh?
    Wiki - Carbon Monoxide
    Wiki - Carbon Dioxide

Both get produced by burning stuff, iirc...

I can see how this type of animation can make a statement. But objectively, visualizing vehicle emissions with any color you choose doesn`t make it any less true.
