Well, given I do have a mattress protector, which is washed monthly, sheets washed weekly, pillowslips twice weekly and the mattress vacuumed when the mattress cover is changed I can sleep quite soundly.

Somehow her neutral droning and just bland voice was worse than the microscopic nightmares.

No thank you. I gave up when she started saying I probably think my bed is a cloud. I`m getting tired of being told that I`m living my life incorrectly, followed by things I actually already know, by some cynical bastard who wants to push it in my face. I`ll pass.

Oh my God. I`ve only been doing the bed linens twice a month since forever, and I don`t think I`ve EVER vacuumed the mattress. I`m sleeping in the bathtub.

I recommend pillow under covers and a good mattress protector- get a waterproof one, then spills such as morning tea don`t ruin it. The only mark on ours is from a caffetier ( ?spelling at 6am?) spilled one morning without one on.

    Oh you delicate, neurotic fairies.

Wash your bedding when they don`t feel pleasant to you any more. That`s all you need to know.

Sheets, like jeans, only need to be washed when the dirt is visible.
