I have had four children- and the first was in a big London teaching hospital. They just used to bring in a load of med students to check you out. by now you could take a coach party round my nethers and I would probably just flog `em an icecream as they left.

Likewise. It`s all about context. If I was walking down the high street half naked with half a dozen people closely examining my dick, I`d be bothered. Same thing in a clinic with a doctor and half a dozen medical students and I don`t care.

I was once asked if I wanted a male doctor for it. It seemed an odd question to me - there was a doctor right there in front of me, so why would I want to waste everyone`s time arranging a different one? I didn`t know anything about either of them, so I couldn`t make a choice based on anything relevant. In a different context her sex would have mattered, but I was seeing her as a doctor and that`s only sexual in pornoland.

The "dick doctor" she wondered about would be a urologist rather than a proctologist.

I laughed at "Good god, that is cold!" A friend of mine once broke part of the doc`s equipment with a reflexive jerk/kick because of the cold.

It`s probably difficult for anyone to hit the right note. I`ve heard a fair few women say they find the doc too chatty under the circumstances. I don`t care either way during intimate exams, but I can understand how someone might think it`s not the right time for smalltalk about the weather or somesuch thing. Others would prefer it. It must be difficult for a doctor to put up the right front for everyone, but a professional detachment should be at least tolerable for every patient.

So, the human vagina has the ability to turn an acetylene torch into an arc welder? Those things are magical.

A lot of women have told me they don`t really like female Gyns because their attitude often seems to be, "Yeah, yeah, I go through it, too, so just calm down and let me finish the exam!"

Madduck and Kitfox I`m jealous. First doc I ever had was a man and he was downright creepy and made it a horrible experience. He made me apprehensive of all of it and to this day I nearly have a panic attack when it comes round to checkup time. Lady I have now isn`t creepy or bad.. she`s just kind of disconnected and not a real people person.

Yeah, I`m with Madduck. Not a big deal for me. I like my lady Gyn and have a good rapport with her. It`s not weird or uncomfortable at all.
