Hitting someone in the neck with the V of your hand is called the Dragon punch and it works REALLY well. Unless the guy has no neck..

i highly suggest you do NOT put real duct tape on exposed skin.. It will end badly after a few hours.

You can use duct tape to remove a wart so, yes Daegog, you`re right. It will do damage to your skin if left on long enough.

Use egg whites to treat a burn.
works for sunburn, scalds, heat burns, even some chemical burns.

If your vehicle breaks down in the bush DO NOT LEAVE IT. (we often find the car before the victims body if they leave).

If you must move, then move at night when its cooler. you will live longer.

if lost in the bush and you come across a fence, follow it. water troughs are placed along fences.
    fences also lead to roads.

at sunup, animals often head towards water, at sundown they travel away from water to their shelter for the night.

I haven`t got room here to list all the things we were taught as kids.
The big one though is STAY WITH THE DAMN CAR.
If you leave it, most of you are as good as dead.

when hiking, place a small stone or coin in your mouth and suck on it.
Breath through your nose- this helps slow dehydration.

Walk with loud steps- most nasty critters will hear you coming and avoid you.
    Only walk quietly when hunting.
