I`d bet there are more planets per system.. Also what about stars that have different planetary axis?
Can`t even see those.

Im betting, when they get some better techniques for finding planets, the solar systems we find wont all look like they are bunched up against the stars. I think that distribution is tainted because the main way we detect the existences of planets is by the stars gravitational wobble, and they wobble more when the planets are big and close.

The other way is watching the star dim as the planet passes between us and the star. That obviously doesn`t happen to often.
