You will never, ever, get away with sitting in first class if you don`t have a first class ticket. First of all, the crew knows exactly how many seats in first class are sold on the flight and which ones. Secondly, if there are unsold first class seats, they will upgrade a frequent flier who purchased coach.

That Costco one is barely unethical. It`s like taking a few extra napkins at McDonalds. A friend works at Costco and I`ll ask him about this and report back on the validity.

Telling your boss you have a special needs child will eventually back fire.
    Boss: "How`s Timmy?"
    you after a stressful
    day: "Who`s Timmy?"

The third one is true. I used to work at a concert hall. When ever I had to go through the crowd to get to the front I always took a flashlight. Fastest way though a crowd.

The Insurance one will not work, the first thing an insurance company does is check for eligibility on the claim, In EVERY case, but it is insurance fraud and could land you in jail.

The Costco one may or may not work.

Not if you`re a good enough liar. ;-)
(The photo on the desk would definitely help keep it in mind, too)

Cab drivers in NYC don`t give a sh*t if you use cash or credit/debit, the card reader is right there in the back seat.

You can haggle with the drivers from the car services (usually black Lincoln Town Cars) if you flag them down. Ask them how much to take you where you`re going then knock $5 - $10 off their price and tell them another driver told you it was only that much. 99 out of 100 times I`ve done that the driver said okay, get in and let`s go.

Yes, Costco cash cards allow a non member to shop, but ONLY members may purchase or recharge the cash cards.

"How often do flight attendants ask to see your boarding pass?"

They are required by regulations to check all boarding passes. That`s why they always ask as you board the plane, even though you know where your seat is.

Funny, I`ve never had a flight attendant ask to see my boarding pass. As soon as I`m though the jetway door, it`s never used again, unless I look at it again because I already forgot my seat assignment.

Whether unethical is open to debate, but some are just incorrect. For example:
    - Choosing a line with fewer Asian or black people will be no advantage when in airports in Asia & Africa.
    - In many countries taxis do not accept credit cards, or expect tips.
    - In many countries insurance is not needed for their citizens to get medical treatment.

And, TSA / CostCo / Savers / Eddie Bauer / CVS / Walgreens ... all these are meaningless to the vast majority of people.
