L.A. Clippers Owner: Don`t Bring Blacks To My Game

Clippers Owner Donald Sterling to GF - Don"t Bring Black People to My Games, Including Magic Johnson - Watch More Celebrity Videos or Subscribe

Audio of Donald Sterling making declarations during an argument on April 9th with V. Stiviano (His girlfriend)... after she posted a photo on Instagram posing with Magic Johnson.

His biggest complaint with Stiviano, who ironically is black and Mexican, is for putting herself out in public with a black person (she has since taken the pic down).

Sterling has a documented history of allegedly racist behavior. He has been sued twice by the federal government for allegedly refusing to rent apartments to Blacks and Latinos.

He was also sued by former Clippers exec Elgin Baylor for racial discrimination - though a jury was ultimately not convinced and shot down Baylor"s case.

It"s obvious his much younger girlfriend recorded this and released it (Sold it to the highest bidder). But why? Maybe her "allowance" wasn"t big enough?

So I-A-B:

1) Is he being jealous of his girlfriend being seen with others, or just being racist?
2) Does he even have the right to ask this of his girlfriend?
3) Should he break up with her for leaking the tape?

For the extended audio and more on the story click here:

Sterling told his GF he does NOT want her bringing blacks to his games or posting it on Instagram. Is he racist I-A-B?

Okay. I got just over a minute in, and, to me, they each sound as though they have been kicked in the head by mules. STOOPID. They deserve one another.

@FoolsPrussia: If you`ll refer to my previous post, when I thought he was a Dem? I said the same thing.

@normalfrak2: Sure, I was wrong, happy now? It doesn`t change the issues involved one iota, does it?

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Agrees! And he is a VERY smart man!

Information up to time = X?
He`s a Democrat donor.

Conclusion: He supports the Democrats.

Information AFTER time= X?
He`s a registered Republican.

Conclusion: He`s a Republican supporter.

Meanwhile? WHO CARES! It`s still a non-story.

Limited Information? We don`t even know if the audio is real or not. OF COURSE we`re working with "limited" information! That`s a given, yes? It`s the same in any "news report" yes?

That means it was an assumption based on limited information, not fact.

Rich businessmen donate to both parties here. And if you are a rich person in California, you will most likely donate to Democrats from time to time regardless of your party affiliation.

It`s UN-possible! :-P

@FoolsPrussia: When the story broke, all that was known was that he`d donated to Democrats several times. Thus: that`s what we knew THEN.
NOW we`ve heard that he`s a Republican, probably a RHINO of course.

@WhoDat and I had a similar discussion a few days ago: people were talking about something, and @WhoDat (or someone) later came in with a link to some FURTHER information.
"HA! You were wrong" spouts @WhoDat.
But then, so was everyone else too! Because we didn`t know, and I mentioned that very fact, so now we know better!

So? Like it`s never happened before in all of history?

AND OBAMA is still stupid for commenting on the case. That remains a fact.

`My facts were straight "at the time" eh? You`re a real stickler for knowing things before they are known...`

That is AMAZING logic. I`ll have to remember that one.

If you don`t know whether something is true yet, it`s not a fact and shouldn`t be presented as such.

Thanks for the laugh, though. This just might be my favorite baffling statement from you.

@5Cats - Oh, my bad, I didn`t know racism was considered an issue that`s far below the office of PotUS. Considering the fact that you`re a middle-aged white Canadian guy I guess you`re an authority on that kind of thing, eh? He was asked a question so he answered it. If he didn`t answer the question or tip-toed around it like you suggested earlier I`m sure we`d hear you spewing some bullsh*t about him abandoning black people.

Doesn`t change the fact that Obama has spouted off YET AGAIN on stuff that`s so far below "The Office Of The President" that it`s embarrassing... and before the facts are remotely in... or even if the recording is real! ffs...

"This is a non-story about a Millionaire Democrat Liberal..."

If he`s a "Democrat Liberal" then why is he a registered Republican? If you`re going to turn this into a political argument you should at least get your facts straight.

@broizfam: What? An IAB thread staying ON topic? lolz!

And this is the 3rd? 4th? Time Obama has done this EXACT same thing! You think he`d learn? You`d think the MSM would finally call him on it?

HECK NO!
He plays the Blame Bush card if anyone tries!

This is a non-story about a Millionaire Democrat Liberal who got caught on tape talking trash with his mistress. Why it`s news is really beyond me...

Okay. So Obama had a stupid opinion about this just like ALL OF US on IAB. Figure out that that doesn`t make it an Obama issue, people. Get over it and back to the actual post.

Cause he chimes in on these things every time including this. Usually before having all the facts and makes an ass of himself. Not a good leadership quality. He also completely ignores all the cases of the opposite end of this spectrum.

Not sure what Obama has to do with this but...whatever.

In my opinion, this guy is more likely a weak idiot and not a racist. His friends (colleagues?) phone him up and complain about his girlfriend hanging around with a black guy and rather then stand up for her, he goes to her and asks her to stop.

It`s also possible there is a bit of jealousy, seeing his young girlfriend hanging around with younger celebs. It`s an opportunity for him to show his friends he`s with them and for him to stop her from hanging around someone he`s jealous of.

SmagBoy1-
The president speaking to it, addressing it when questions come up
And condemning a person before all the facts are in. Seems like this guy is an asswipe, so I feel no sympathy for him. (although I find it interesting no media is making his connections to democrats and liberals public.) But the least the president could do is wait until both sides of the story are in. (Nah, easier to foster racism while he can..if he waits for all the facts he may not be able to play the race card).

In his comments, Obama NEVER said `If this is true` or `the alleged comments`...he just comes out and calls the guy `ignorant`. A president can`t do this. He`s supposed to show at least some effort at due process.

It seems that Obama knows all about what goes on in the NBA, but never new about Benghazi, Fast & Furious, NSA, IRS, ObamaCare Website, or that people would lose their insurance.

When did I ever say it`s not an issue or should not be an issue? It obviously is an issue. Even more so since this administration has a habit of fostering racial division whenever possible. (don`t like the fact the administration is doing something stupid? You must be racist!)

SmagBoy: "Like it or not, he represents more than just Christian white males."

The problem is this, Obama doesn`t represent most of America, not just "white males". 58% of Americans disapprove of him because he sticks his nose into minor dramas like this and then ignores/covers up other bigger problems.

Nitpicking, like his, looks absurd when he has giant ticks like Eric Holder, Lois Lerner, Benghazi, The botched ACA rollout, NSA spying on phone records and e-mails and several others.

5Cats and MeGrendel, just because you don`t want racism to be an issue in the US doesn`t mean it`s not. The president speaking to it, addressing it when questions come up, is not beneath the office. Like it or not, he represents more than just Christian white males.

I think Turd was right before, I think he`s worried about what his friends think. By the sounds of it some of them have rang him to comment on what she`s posting online. Does that make him racist? I don`t know tbh, but it does make him a bit weak if he`s not racist and not going to stand up to his mates about it when they comment on her photos.

She doesn`t sound that nice either though really. She`s recording the call and during it she is the one that is constantly mentioning race, trying to get him to say something that she can then use against him. How he didn`t pick up on the fact that she was baiting him throughout that conversation I don`t know, it was transparent that whenever he tried to stop the conversation she brought it up again and again.

I don`t want to sound like I`m standing up for this guy at all, but lets keep in mind that what he said was in private. He may be a bad person, but IMO she is worse. No one would have been hurt by those comments if she hadn`t recorded and released them. It`s pretty easy to make someone look bad when you record and release selected comments without them knowing.
We should also remember that there is a difference between culture and race. We have no obligation to like anyones culture. We don`t have to like their race either...but that is different. It`s worse.

A good example is middle eastern culture. It`s hard to respect the way they treat women. We don`t hate the color of their skin, but we don`t care for the ones who brutalize women.
I`m not standing up for this guy. Just think about the situation a bit.

@SmagBoy1: "It`s an ongoing matter between two private citizens and not the business of the White House. NEXT QUESTION!"

How about he answer like that? Yes?
Like the cop or Zimmerman or 10 other things he should have just STFU about!

OR the press corps could be asked 10 REAL questions! That would be a change of pace! But the MSM is too busy actively covering his arse, it would be counter-productive to do that.

5Cats: There is some question about the authenticity of this conversation. The woman that released it to TMZ is apparently suing him for millions of dollars and was overheard saying that she would get him back, after she was fired. (according to ESPN Sportscenter).

It wouldn`t be hard, especially these days, to cobble together several audio clips into something incriminating. Especially with a mufti-million dollar motive.

"I don`t think you can substantiate the idea that everyone before 100 years ago was insecure."

Widespread insecurity that lead to societal ignorance. If you were to find any white southerner from the 19th century, don`t you think they`d be terrified of their daughter being with a black man?

And seriously...do we always have to argue?

I really have no idea who this guy is. It`s one of those stories like Cliven Bundy - it`s a small event that gets picked up by national news. I don`t care. And somehow the president always comments on this stuff more than actual Geopolitical matters. This LA guy seems racist, but I don`t really see the black basketball players as victims of him, considering they are all .01%ers. I think turdburglar`s point might be more accurate though, he may just care about what others think.

He`s a racist. He can ask his girl anything he wants, and this is a relationship that`s purely based on each party getting something they want. This isn`t a "loving" relationship. He`s a Billionaire and he wants a young girl to hang round him. She`s a gold digging bitch that wants money. As long as both parties get what they want who cares.

He can do whatever he wants, To me this isn`t a relationship based on a love or whatever. This relationship is pretty cut an dry.

HE`s an idiot, getting mad over her being seen with "blacks" is beyond stupid. I suppose it falls under racism too.

She`s his mistress? Isn`t he still married? Isn`t his wife suing her for some "gifts" he gave her? (That the wife says was communal property, not his to give away, eh?) idk, perhaps they`re divorcing.

Anyhow, Barack Obama is ALL OVER this story! So have no fear America! He`s focused "like a laser" on the situation (-|
