Back to nature I say! They are all beautiful, but I wonder...does the carpet match the rest of the decor?

Well of course I do...but not in the span of a single day following a full shower, in clean clothes, in mild weather without physical labour.

I live with and share a bed with someone. If I smelled, trust me, I`d soon be told about it.

I find that hard to believe. Everyone gets BO are you sure you just can`t smell it?

Naw. I don`t like pit hair.
I don`t even like a lot of public hair.
Good grooming is polite. Wild brush just gets in the way; men and women both.

wears makeup, plucks eye brows, shaves legs, but i will challenge the standard societal beauty of armpit hair. this stuff is stupid. either they have a fetish with it or they`re contradicting.

Idk if you are gonna include Amanda Palmer in your list of challenging female beauty standards you seem to be furthering the transient/hipster ideal that states the homeless are sexy. Then yes, people do not lose their beauty when they have not showered, people are complex they can be attractive and still be gross. Take a shower ya filthy hippies!

Ya and I`m sure you don`t in like minded company.... So American(not the continents) from the US is a race? You should learn what race actually means and also ethnicity.

@McGovern1981 "Ahh the race card....What was racist?"

From the O.E.D "Racism: The belief that all members of each race possess characteristics, abilities, or qualities specific to that race, especially so as to distinguish it as inferior or superior to another race or races"

From McGovern1981: "Are you a staunch French Canadian? I`ve smelled you guys trust me nothing to be proud of....", "toothpaste isn`t natural put it`s good for your teeth, breath and health oh wait you`re from the UK nevermind...... Are you part French BTW?"

You sir, are a racist bigot. You, as an individual, proven by your own words. Your opinion on grooming may or may not have validity but it`s being made by an ignorant buffoon. You are the type of person that gives Americans a bad name all around the world and if I didn`t know many Americans that are fine people I might be tempted to make generalities about Americans the way you do about other <

"just another way of helping your deodorant - which I assume you`re using"

Why should I? I shower every morning, I wear freshly clean clothes every day, I`m not naturally sweaty, and I`m in a country that doesn`t see much heat.

My body just plain doesn`t have a chance to get properly stinky in a 24 hour time span.

@McGovern1981

"Are you sure that`s not your excessive body hair? Do you posses eye brows or an eye brow?"

I have seventeen eyebrows, but I tend to only wear a maximum of eight at any given time. The rest I keep in my eyebrowarium at home, properly watered and fed for maximum lush bushiness.

I used to have twenty-six, until that fateful day last October when my beard got hungry. It was a sad time.

Tsk, tsk, so quick of you to throw racist, ad hominem (look it up) arguments. In fact I`ve been a competitive swimmer (1,500m) in high school, university and today and so I have no body hair. My comment was that if you expect women to shave then why aren`t you?

@Musuko42: I said "it starts accumulating", not that it`s already so displeasing I want to run away. No man, clipping your pit-forest is just another way of helping your deodorant - which I assume you`re using otherwise, ew gross - do its job of keeping what everybody seems to agree is a nasty body smell, controlled.

It`s not about beauty for a lot of people, although I`ll have to admit I prefer the shaved looks in that area, if only because unshaved will undoubtedly raise the danger of a distasteful pit smell and that just makes me twitch my nose on sight.

If fresh, "20 min new sweat smell" is so offensive to you, then sex really isn`t for you.

Really, if you so dislike the smell of human bodies, then why would you want to have sex with one? Just go spray some perfume on a barbie doll and rub that against your dangly bits instead.

It`d be about as authentic as the shaved, sterilised mockeries of humanity you and so many others seem to be attracted to.

At this point most of the civilized worlds women shave body hair. ALL Muslim countries do. UK, Japan, Korea, Germany, Scandinavia, Brazil(oh yeah). Sure some women in all countries choose not to but it`s common pretty much everywhere in the 1st world. America is in NO WAY the one of the only countries in the world where women shave their pits Nickel2.

That`s it, a little hair? Those women probably have so many things wrong with them that a little grooming trouble is the least of their problems.

No, it`s the smell. No matter how much you clean it, in 20 min new sweat smell starts accumulating, and finding its way out of your arms through that mass of hair that probably had a stinky purpose back when we lived in the forest.

All I can think about when I see armpit hair, on anything, is BO, horrible, deep and penetrating BO

I don`t think armpit hair fans appreciate how much more it can retain BO. If you`re a religious washer, eh, do your thing. But if not, don`t be surprised if you get the odd squinty-eyed sniff. (As for you guys, too many of you are lost causes in this regard already.)

@bophus: Just how often do you look at a woman`s armpit? Humm?

@bompa1997: There`s a fetish for that...

This wasn`t even remotely an issue until women`s swimsuits came up over the shoulder... (exposing their armpits, eh?)
Unless it hangs past her elbows? Who cares!

Hey, if you want to be "different", then don`t get pissed off that people that like the norm, don`t like your "uniqueness".

I thought they were very attractive women. The armpit hair doesn`t bother me a bit the way they have it, kinda like mine. Either way I could get past it, if it was someone that I loved.

(I thought this would get rated into the 1.0 area and that everyone would complain about it. Nice to see that we can all get along have a good discussion on at least one topic.)

Easiest way to know how you feel about this is imagine your first date with your new woman and as she reaches up to hold the handrail on the busy train you see this.
Quite why you are on a busy train...oh never mind.

I find the idea of shaving ones bollocks to be quite nasty- why would I want a mouthful of stubble. Hair is fine, as long as it is clean, and people should be free to choose. It`s not my body- do what you will.

Naturally, men won`t be able to let themselves go in this brave, new world.

Really though, most of the beauty-related stuff that women do is not really for men, it`s for women. Just like the magazines that are all photoshopped - the consumption is all by women, driven by women. Make up is something I especially don`t care about. But women do.

There is a thing called "trying" to maintain your appearance for a partner. The lady above with dreadlocks is not cutting edge or part of a new wave of beauty. No, she just has disgusting hair.

If it`s so important to have hairy armpits, ladies, you will probably have a hard time finding someone else who will try and maintain their own appearance for you. You will probably be giving bjs to completely unshaven balls, too. I guess if it makes you feel liberated.
