Chromecast connects to the TV via HDMI, not USB.

Also, in the ideas section, they forgot one teensy, tiny, little idea that Google is sometimes known for: SEARCH!!! Jeez...

Given how much I hate Apple Computers, I was surprised at how much I liked their hand held devices (I own a touch, iPhone and iPad mini). However, my wife got an Asus tablet and a Samsung phone and I`ve been impressed with them. Given the price difference, I may be switching when it`s time to upgrade.

"Chromecast connects to the TV via HDMI, not USB."

Actually, it uses both. HDMI for video output, USB for power. That way if your TV has a USB port (as so many do these days) you don`t need a separate power connection.

    Android "lacks consistency"

I`ll give Apple that, they`re very consistent about releasing pretty much the same product over and over again.

uhmm, comparing means you put two similar things next to eachother right? So why don`t they [ut android next to ios streetview to google maps?
Google doesnot produce laptops, so why include the macbook air? If you stretch it a little, you can call the nexus devices google product (even if they are produced by other manufacturers) so why not compare the most recent iPhone to the nexus 5 phone, and the iPad to the Nexus 10.
I am sure you can find some more, but my main idea is, why call it a comparison when you don`t compare, just sum up the things one companie has, and the other not?

Android is going backwards. On my nexus 7 I have to use 4 different browsers at times to find one that will play video clips. This was never an issue when I got it just over 12 months ago.

Well, I`m glad they told me that the Iphone is the best Iphone yet. And Chromecast uses HDMI.

    Just nitpicking

I do have to say one thing about my IPhone 4S is that I have had for 2 years..It still works after I had lost it for 2 days in the snow and rain a couple months ago...I figured when I had lost it, I would have to buy a new phone because I figured it would be completely useless even if I did find it...Well.. I found it after 2 days and I immediately put it in a bowl if dry rice( I figured it couldn`t hurt it anymore than what it had already been through)..To my surprise..The damn thing still works and I am still using it right now..Do I have a fluke on my hands? Or am I just that lucky...I don`t know however this phone has been through some abuse and still works fine...

Also, I may add that I did not have a protective case on it. I found it in a pile of melting snow while it was raining...when I did put it in a bowl of rice, I let it sit for 16 hours straight without touching it..

Point of fact from an owner: Chrome cast uses HDMI, also. The USB port is used to power the unit.
