Did you know that the color yellow conveys optimism and creativity? How About Blue...?

well said thonius, plus the values of the colors as well as the amount effects the reaction to the color. Dark reds vs bright reds etc. Also, the culture can effect the way it is emotionally perceived. Some view blue as happy while other culture deem it sad.

And of coarse, there is always the unethical "Baby Albert" experiment.

Red often has a calming effect and is sometimes used in institutions for that purpose.

Just like everything else, there is a difference between the culturally accepted ideas of color and their real psychological impact.

re the above. i had always heard that yellow triggers something akin to unreasonable resentment and anger and that that`s the reason its not used in an institutional setting.
