    Note the old crane: mantas don`t come that big any more because people fished the hell out of them a long time ago.

    The manta is Photoshopped in over whatever the crane was originally suspending.
    There is that tell-tail edge to the animal that does not exist around the man or the machine.
    The differences in image "grain" between the "digital" ray and the "silver-oxide" film emulsion of the original photo are also evident when compared to each other.

    Besides, how is the crane physically attached to the huge beast? Were they fishing with the crane and the ray swallowed a big hook?
