Sorry, CrakrJak. You are incorrect. After my wife and I spent years dealing with fertility issues, suffering a miscarriage and then a stillborn at 9 months, I fully believe that a fetus is a living being. People who can get pregnant at the drop of a hat don`t realize how lucky they really are.

Unfortunately, what liberals think of conservatives is, quite likely, due to what we hear from the most vocal of them, the far right. Unfortunatel, the same goes, in reverse, for what conservatives think of liberals. The reality is (I fervently hope!) that the vast majority of us *lean* left or right, rather than *living* left or right, and are actually capable of intelligent thought, conversation, and even debate with each other. It`s comparable people expecting the local mini-mart manager to bomb the Empire State Building because of the noise made by Muslim fundamentalists. We have to be a bit more careful about how and why we form our opinions.

I`m glad to hear from broizfam that there are some liberals out there that don`t support abortion after viability of the fetus. That means that some liberals ARE listening to science.

CrakrJak

I`m pretty sure you are a comedy writer in the vein of Stephen Colbert because there is no way that someone could actually be so stereotypical right wing tea party crazy like you portray yourself to be and actually be serious!

I tip my hat to you sir, you may be one of the best in the game!

@CrakrJak,
I partially agree with you. It was a comedic portrayal of far right conservatives, not of conservatives in general.
By the same token, "blind support of abortion on demand up to the moment of birth" actually doesn`t exist but there is blind support of pre-viable abortion on demand by far left liberals. I am, as I`ve noted previously, pretty liberal and I do support the right to choose but I`m not thrilled with late term abortions, don`t belive they should be done after the fetus is viable outside the womb (without major life support techniques), and think that Medicaid pays for way too many of them allowing many women to continue having unprotected intercourse because they know they won`t have to pay, themselves, for the likely outcome.

"That was a startlingly accurate portrayal of a Conservative."

Bullsh|t.

You liberals blind support of abortion on demand up to the moment of birth has backfired. The holocaust of the unborn is coming to an end soon. So be bitter and churlish while your ship sinks beneath you.

The rest of us want a reasonable compromise. The definition of when human life starts, at 12 weeks for example, but that`s just not good enough for dyed in the wool liberals.

Have to love how many "enlightened athiest" liberals won`t listen to science and logic, when it tells them human life starts when the heart starts beating. They`d rather make lame excuses and accuse conservatives of wanting women to go back to using coathangers.

It doesn`t make sense, I thought they didn`t believe in abortion under any circumstances. Let the DINGOES have a go!
