I love Gary Oldman.
Everyone loves Gary Oldman.
Anyone who loves cinema has laughed, cried, cringed, and said "WTF!!!" at a GO performance.

I haven`t watched the Oscars in 15 years.
Eff those meaningless, pretentious douches.

"Fritz Lang never even got a nomination."
That`s more of a `foreign film` thing than a lack of recognition.

Talent often goes unrecognized. Shakespeare was never even nominated for all the great screenplays he wrote.

It really is a shame. Gary Oldman is such a fantastic actor and one of the best out there. He deserves so much more recognition than he gets.

What you`re missing, Gerry, is that Gary Oldman IS a great actor who has shown amazing range and talent. Then you have the nerve to mention Will Farrell in the same breath? For shame, you have no taste.

You could say the same thing for Steven Seagal or Will Farrel.
Being a busy actor does not mean you`re a good one.

Nooo... I`m not saying people like Bruce Willis or Will Smith are anywhere near Gary Oldman in terms of acting skill but nevertheless, they`re still box office winners and perhaps should at least have gotten something.

Then there are some that really should have oscars like Harrison Ford, Liam Neeson, Alan Rickman... wow, didn`t realise the list was so long!

@beternal I don`t think I`d be alone in questioning your assertion that Bruce Willis has the range to play 16 characters.

@beternal,

Wait! You say the list (of characters Gary Oldman has played) now include R.D Jr, Di Caprio, S.L Jackson, Depp, Feinnes, Willis and Will Smith too.
Are you telling me Oldman played those characters too?

on another note, 12 years a slave?! PHA! try 32 years being Gary oldman at the Oscars!

Aside from the fact that Oldman blows all those other guys away.

And they at least are missing Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead.

Unless it`s changed since last night that list also includes R.D Jr, Di Caprio, S.L Jackson, Depp, Feinnes, Willis and Will Smith
