YOU KNOW that Warren Buffet and Carl Icahn are buying up land in Detroit. Word to the wise people "when there is blood in the street, buy property."

This varies widely by individual neighborhoods and each of these is really a bell curve. In my neighborhood, we pay about 100/sqft, but this chart has it at almost twice that for my city. I am sure there are some houses in some neighborhoods that are way more, but this is not an accurate reflection of reality.

Yeah- in Grovesnor square you would get under 200 sq feet for a million pounds- but in Tottenham not a fraction of that.

In Detroit you need K&R insurance because of all the Somalian pirates.

LOL, my neighbourhood is about 200 on that scale. You lot have it too good.

It depends on whether you want a real mansion or a pole barn with plumbing.

This was CLEARLY meant to be an exhaustive delineation of per-square-foot residential real estate valuations and not a very general approximation.
