this was beautiful. i was excited for anthony hopkins just as it started. but when they keep cutting back to him in that hat and the red lighting and you can see him humming along to his waltz, isnt this a scene straight out of hannibal??

Anyone else imagining Victor Van Dort having his first post nuptial dance with his Corpse Bride?

Absolutely captivating. Normally I would scoff at everyone swaying side to side like a group of grinning idiots but there was an air of simple enjoyment in that crowd. I loved it.

Andre Rieu is one of the few that makes classical music bearable to me. That was excellent.

You mean "Sir Anthony" not "Sir Hopkins". A common mistake for a colonial. An OBE recipient is addressed by title and first name. Those higher up are addressed by last name, a Lord or Earl. Ex. Earl of Spencer or Lord Mountbatten. But a mere Knight of the Realm is first name basis only. It helps to distinguish the pecking order.

I`m glad everyone enjoyed this. I, like a lot of others, was pleasantly surprised to hear how wonderful this waltz was...as well as Sir Anthony`s reaction.
