    In a way, yes. Release them into society. They can take out the grazers; the dead beats abusing social welfare programs.

    No, it looks like a beaver did it. If you look at 2:28 you can see that the stick is clearly beaver trimmed. Beavers leave cone shaped cuts rather than flat cuts.

    We could also have done this if we had allowed hunters to shoot more deer. Maybe even from helicopters.
