if you don`t have at least a masters in some related science field, you should not be making policy that may of may not destroy our ecology...the fact that people with degrees in law, which has nothing to do with natural science or anything actually relating to reality shows how backward we are as a species...

If he likes it so much, let him breath it exclusively.

p.s. he`s also a creationist.

Hahahaha

Those criticising him are the idiots, because he is right. I have a degree in Earth Sciences, including Palaeobiology. The Earth is still in a very carbon dioxide situation, not far from the lowest in its existence. Plants would grow far better with around 0.05% or even more.

I`m a HUGE conservative, but I think the answer is reasonbale conservation, not nutbaggery from either end of the political spectrum. Don`t do things that are going to hurt people! Climate change isn`t new, folks, it`s been a problem for millions and millions of years! But there`s no need to make more problems in the name of money! Sadly, the politicla chasm I think is far far far too wide for anything constructive to get done over this endless bickcering and nonsense.

Experts once also predicted that by 1905, London would be buried under 15 feet of horse dung. They also said there was a huge hole in the ozone layer that would result in the Earth getting fried by radiation. Guess what? Neither happened, and these are just 2 of hundreds of possible examples of when "experts" were totally full of (poo).

Climate change has been happening for millions of years, and will keep happening regardless of anything humankind does. We`re actually overdue for another ice age, so strap yourself in -- it`s coming whether or not you want it to, and the best we can hope to do is delay it by a decade or two. (Of course, that would cost trillions of dollars, and would create another bubble that would make 2008`s economic collapse look like a friggin` joke. Seriously, does anyone ever think beyond kindergarten level anymore?)

There should be a requirement that lawmakers and the like actually have an IQ higher than a that of a cow. I don`t think that`s unreasonable.

The retired Science teachers reasoning for the change in the law is even more hillarious.

Facepalm. It amazes me that there are so many who embrace apocalyptic end of time scenarios and yet fail to grasp climate change as a genuine threat. We let idiots like this have a voice- and continue making policy - could we perhaps makeup some kind of massive super conspiracy, which just so happens to embrace cleaning up our act and taking preventative measure just to get them on board?

Hey Ollie,
Here`s the proof that conservatives can be just as much of sh*tbrained morons as liberals can be. It`s not conservatism or liberalism, it`s stupidity that`s the enemy and stupidity strikes everywhere. Now if we can just shut down the stupids maybe we can get some good, actually worthwhile, stuff done for the country.
