Methane Gas Cylinder + Car + Explosion [Pic]

Cause of the explosion is unknown and no one was hurt. I wouldn"t consider a car a good storage area for a gas cylinder.

This`ll be a common sight when hydrogen cars are mass produced.

Obviously exceeded the manufacturer`s suggested maximum pressure on his LPG tank.
That, and left a candle burning on his dash.

Perhaps a gas trapezoid or octagonal ellipsoid, but definitely not a cylinder.

Here in Europe, we have cars running
* on liquified gas (LPG = propane/butane) for more than thirty years (mainly in the Netherlands)
* on compressed natural gas (CNG = compressed methane) for the last ten years (mostly buses and some cars, mainly tests)

Picture shows no signs of burning, only (sic) physical burst
