    My middle school science teacher showed this to us.. we crushed up the cereal and pulled the bits out with a magnet. So apparently this was common knowledge even back in the 90`s.

    Twinkle` - Indeed. Many vitamin pills contain little "sparkles" that are, in fact, elemental iron.
