yeah, the main differendce is that we know what snowden really did, we know he had WAY more intel and got swamped even more then the burglars did and we know that some people still think that its ok to get spied on cause `we got nothing to hide`.

and wether snowden is a traitor or not depends on what measure you use. one could eqsily claim that anyone that goes agianst the existing order is a traitor.
Trust me, those documents that got outed by the burglers no doubt ended up in foreign hands too.

Personaly, i think it is good that both instances exist. After all, a government ruling in secrecy isnt a government of the people, for the people, by the people

I would say those people were activist heros. They ONLY distributed information about the illegal wire taps and break ins- unlike Snowden that distributed thousands of documents contents unknown. They revealed ONLY that information to the responsible Press to tell the public - NOT to foreign governments like that traitor Snowden.
