Well, okay, if the Tyrannosaurs are not to scale (because otherwise they can`t fight in a manger, or unless it`s a HUGE manger or they`re way behind it?), and the fight is for some specific reason happening under the star of Bethlehem, then, sure, that`s what I see. Otherwise, even as someone who understands the scientific irrefutably of evolution, I see the Nativity scene.

I like the idea of the nativity. Don`t believe it for a second- but the idea is lovely.. and I am quite happy to have a nativity in my drawing room at Christmas.. it has brought us wonderful art, music, poetry.. and the fact that it never happened is by now irrelevant.. until you push your beliefs onto my life. That is when I get a bit cross.

Ha! I would want to paint both sides of it. One the nativity and the other dinosaurs. Put it in front side ways so you see one thing walking towards and another walking away.

Not very sharp teeth for Tyrannosaurs though are they.. perhaps that is why they are fighting over watermelon?

Whatever the Rex`s are fighting over, it`s frowning big time. Understandably.

    Dino`s.
Anyone giving birth to a watermelon that size would suffer complications.

I`m trying to remember anybody pushing God onto me. I`m 46 and can`t remember one instance save my parents telling me what they believe. And I don`t count people handing out literature either.

I CAN count many many instances of busybodies pushing their agenda on me "for my own good" but none of them where holding a bible or quoting scripture.

Does anyone remember the scene where an alien pops out of the man`s chest, Well, to me, if you focus on the darkness, it looks sort of reminds me of that. However, this time a man is bursting out of the alien`s chest.

DromEd, there`s all manner of legislation or proposed legislation that, while it may not be *pushed* on you, potentially affects you or your loved ones.

I agree, DromEd. Never have I ever been pressured into becoming religious. I mean, two Mormons came to talk to me one time on campus way back when, but what`s the big deal? I like a chance to engage in political and/or religious debate, which is all that was.

Smugman - it`s called the phantom menace. The country has never been more secular. Nobody is forcing you to be religious or abide by religion in any meaningful way. I don`t get offended when I see a Menorah or a nativity scene. Or when my HS class celebrated Ramadan.

Most examples are superficial cherry picked things, something I call the Muslim SS division effect. You see, Hitler had a Muslim SS division. He also had Blacks and Indians in his army:

Seemingly off topic, but the point is - just because you can find data that Hitler had all these groups in his army (by many accounts one of the more inclusive armies in the whole war), doesn`t mean Hitler was an inclusive guy. You need concrete proof and trends. Big picture things. Not tiny details one struggles to assemble a narrative with.

On a third look, it could be a 2-man saw being used to cut a large log on a trestle.
