Best to use lead lined Tinfoil Hats. Less chance of Radiation and telepathic brain scans getting through.

This is all just fearmongering again. And seriously? Tape up electrical outlets? Wear N100 masks??

If serious amounts of fallout were to ever reach the US west coast something REALLY horrible will have to happen. (Like a tactical thermonuclear weapon being detonated just below the reactor buildings. That MIGHT do it) The nature of the current radioactive decay products means that its very unlikely for any of it to make it to the US in any sort of meaningful quantity.

If it does cause problems in the US it`s called payback, remember Hiroshima and Nagasaki?

A lot of the links being posted are not working now. Fake or real, who knows, wait a few days for the fall out then we will all know.

@danagamer,
I`ve been doing that since I read the story, this morning. It`s tough because most sources have been removed.

Here is the latest thing I`ve come across that debunks it:
Link

From what this guy is saying, it looks like a case where the steam was reported, Turner Radio Network made it into a big thing, some of the news sites started to run it but then pulled it.

Here`s to hoping this is all an over reaction by the media (not a big stretch).

Here`s something we should all do before reading this: Check your sources. The sole website ENENews.com reporting this "Breaking" news story is dubious. It started jsut after the fudgeushima accident and reports on little else. In fact, for this "breaking news" is cites yet another source "TRN" (Turner Radio Network?) Go to www.turnerradionetwork.com and see for yourself the crdibility of this story. They claim imminent disaster, yet provide no statisical data or facts.

While fudgeushima is a pretty messed up situation, a crisis even, we all owe it to our selves to check the sources of fear generating news stories.

Best I could find...

Reactor may be melting down

Mystery steam

From the sound of those articles it`s something they`ve known about for some time now.

Maybe there`s something in the story (albeit not to the hysterical levels that website suggests) given that Russia Today is also reporting it.

Not sure what has happened here. This morning, this was on several news sites. This afternoon, the story has been pulled.

I`m not a conspiracy guy, so I`m assuming it was an overreaction on the part of the TEPCO guys that caused them to report things that weren`t true. But either way, it is certainly something to keep an eye on.
