Half Windsor FTW. Best looking knot given the amount for effort required.

I do a full Windsor and find that I am only left with about 6 inches on the skinny part of the tie. I have no idea how people would tie some of these and not have the tie end in the middle of the chest.

I only know the first one and now I know why it never looks straight.

@Rick_S I`m a full Windsor man, too. My secret is to pull it tight at every loop. I`m a big guy, but I still have just enough tail to tuck it into the label strap. I also put a dimple in it.

I always used the full windsor when I had to wear my service A/B or dress blue C uniforms. I think the bigger knot looks better.

Half Windsor. Neck too big for anything else. Some of these look like I`d need 6 feet of tie to work with.

I generally do Full Windsors, unless I need a smaller knot. Depends entirely on the shirt and tie.

I bought a cashmere tie today that`s too long, so I have to do a Prince Albert knot (Four-in-hand with an extra loop) for it to look good.

Most of these wrap around so many times I don`t see how it`d end up being any longer than 6 inches.

I stopped wearing ties when I reached the stage of `employer needs me`, not `I need employment`.
Clean denim jeans, clean t-shirt, black socks, polished black shoes. Shower and shave every morning before work as a matter of course.

the `oriental` is hardly uncommon. Practically every schoolboy ties his knot in this way
