Many places in Asia favour pale skin, it`s a leftover preference from the times of nobility and frantic European colonialism.

I do believe that this song is very much relevant to this conversation.

Then you must live in a really crappy place. There`s a difference between knowing racial stereotypes and buying into them or actively disliking another race.
As for saying it`s only viewed as racism when it comes from a white person you`re simply misinformed or are attempting to misrepresent reality to make a point. Maybe that`s how it works in the states but in Canada racism is racism.

tl;dr You`re a racist, not everyone is and everyone knows anyone can be racist

I stopped wearing a bone in my hair when I overheard someone say it was ugly.

So? Everyone is racist. Never met someone who wasn`t....of any race. It`s only when the racism comes from a white person that it`s bad. If it comes from a Hispanic is "a unique cultural perspective".

Nah, it`s probably because the only people knocking on their doors are cops.

not truly racist either, at least not in the sense that you`re thinking. Big eyes and white skin is a sign of beauty in most Asian countries. filipino, japanese, korean, chinese. Every girl I`ve met says they or their culture have this view.

So when you all automatically assume that it`s racism between black and white, tell me now who is racist?

So... I do have to ask a question that is tangentially related.

I`m currently delivering packages, and I had 7 people this week tell me that I knock like a police officer. Is it racist to notice that all seven of them were black?

Saw the trailer to "Ride Along" tonight, the new movie starring Ice Cube and Kevin Hart. One of the scenes it highlighted was security guard Hart breaking up a spat between high schoolers, telling them "You`re white, you don`t fight. You`re white!"

That`s racist going two ways. But since Hart is black, it`s cool. And since most people will perceive any racism as being against whites, that`s also cool. (Although, those with intelligence slightly above average will realize Hart`s comment is more of a stab at black stereotypes.)

At any rate, I`m absolutely sick of the double standards, and all of the cry baby poo. If anyone in this country has a beef, it`s the Native Americans we nearly exterminated and stole everything from. And no one really seems too concerned about them.
