    I`ve never posted before, but could not tolerate these shenanigans. Measure the line in the video and you will notice that Lincoln on the left is taller by a few mm.

    I also measured and biom is correct. They are not the same height

    Could that be atributed to camera angle? Might they look the same if viewed from directly above?

    Not really shenanigans at all... the size discrepancy you are measuring is likely due to unintended lens distortion and perhaps a slight camera angle when he filmed it. However, it doesn`t have much bearing on the illusion he was trying to portray. The effect can easily be reproduced in photoshop by taking a screen capture of the video, duplicating just one of the abes, rotate it and then draw your own lines in.

    It could be the camera angle, but there actually seems to be a discontinuity in the video where the size of the cutout actually changes. I`ve seen valid perception illusions, but this is not one.
