I can change the volume. It took some concentration to force it, but I do that all the time.

I don`t understand what they`re talking about. My internal monologue can be as quiet as a whisper or loud as a shout. Just imagine a rock singer shouting it if you want to make it louder (I recommend Robert Plant, Ozzy Osbourne, or Brian Johnson of AC/DC) and imagine Marlon Brando in Apocalypse Now (or imagine a really old man who talks in a whisper) to make it sound quiet.

But is it actually changing volume @OldOllie? I can differentiate between an inner "whisper" and and inner "shout" but they`re the same volume...

I don`t know about the rest of you, but I have no problem with the volume control of my thoughts.

This is like listening a conversation about not being able to wink.

Next you`ll tell me that your inner voices only ever had one gender, never speak in song and only speak one language.

WOW! It`s true! No matter if it`s a yell or a whisper "KILL KILL KILL" is just as aloud each time.

Hey, this is the 21st century. A simple implant can take care of that problem ...

I`d like a pre-amp and return interface. I want to plug a flanger and some compressors into it...

    You know whats funny?
You can yell in your mind and it physically stresses your body. It`s true, i`ve done it high.

It`s like you need to actually imagine the screaming and your voice. Usually its hard to keep the voice but easy to scream the effect. When I was done I was actually crying and didn`t realize.

How could you even measure loudness in your head? Since your brain is deciding how loud something is going to be, what if you just convinced yourself that it was the same volume? Like, I can imagine the difference between a whisper and a shout, but since they`re not actually happening, there`s no way to measure if one is louder than the other. This post is pretty dumb.
