I`ve never heard people who talk like this...maybe Newfies? I guess a less exaggerated version I may have seen before.

Wroooonng going for a rip is when you go out cruising, or in your truck and you`re driving up logging roads and back-country and you`re tearing through mud puddles and "rippin" up the ground in your truck Sorry for those that didn`t like it, but I still can`t get it off repeat. The cadence and singular phrases just gave me such dejavu because I`ve heard that exact phrase and tone. "dratin rights, eh bud??" "Just started feedin `im the left n right BOOM"

There are two main ways to get high in Canada, getting "ripped" and getting "toasted". Toasted is getting drunk. I have heard these two terms locally, they`re creeping down into the midwest lately.

Swearing Warning? Not that Canadians mean it when we cuss ;-)

I`ve never heard this expression, but I don`t smoke that stuff, eh?

@ Rob: Thanks. I was thinking it meant getting drunk, so thanks for setting me straight there.

Sway, I`m a little behind on my Canadian slang: What does "out for a rip" mean?
