    Hahaha, kind of like the photos of Kim Jong-Cartman in his war room that show a map of his plans to attack US cities.

    From the comments:

    As a redditor by the name of wigg1es points out, the backdrop is actually a stock image (seen above), which means it`s entirely possible that whoever was responsible for arranging this diorama picked the art out of a lineup without scrutinizing it for depictions of nuclear bombardment.

    It`s wallpaper. A stock photo. I don`t think it`s a message just poor production.

    We`d better nuke them first, just to be on the safe side.

    Why the drat do they need to go to the moon anyway. Us and the Russians already harvested all the science from it.

    I think it`s a cover.

    So... they pirate stock photo`s too, huh?

    I love the quote at the end of the article - China can go to the moon and we cannot? Dude, we did that 44 years ago, with a person. Now we`re going to Mars. The moon is so 1970`s.

    Next year`s christmas present will be a piece of `genuine` chinese moon-rock each. The shipping department is on it`s busiest period:

    Not to be nitpicking but i think the location of the nuclear blast is Moscow. Although Moscow officially lies in Europe it is not Europe as in `European union`.
    The caption would be more acurate when it had said `... shows Russia beeing nuked.`.

    That`s a lot of Reynolds Wrap. But can someone explain why the solar panels are facing down when deployed?

    Johan, nobody thinks EU is a synonym for Europe, unless you`re one of those people who reads nothing but the Guardian or something. Iceland isn`t in it. Norway isn`t. Switzerland isn`t. The largest country in Europe - Russia - isn`t. The most spoken native language on the continent is Russian. Etc etc. Europe.

    @andrew
    since europe is a cultural term, its higly debateable if russia truly is a part of it.

    I do agree with you if you go with the cultural term definition. I certainly wouldn`t consider Azerbaijan, Turkey, or Kazkahstan to be in Europe, even though they are between 5-30% in Europe. Russia is more European than them, it`s an "almost Europe". But it leads to another question, if Russia isn`t Europe, what is Ukraine?

    So while I agree it`s ambiguous, I don`t like it when the EU is a universal synonym for the continent, especially considering there are multiple levels of the EU.
