I`d really like to try that out but I don`t want to drop $300 on it. Most of the demos I`ve seen look like it`s pretty accurate but I still have my doubts.

The question is, can it re-tune it on the fly in the middle of a song after you play a solo and go all ape-$#!+ with the whammy bar?

@MrO WOW! That sure beats the hell out of tweaking the tuning with your right hand while you are holding a note with your left. Strats tend to go flat when you really wank on the whammy bar or bend notes too far. The trick is to play a note and bend it up just enough to get it back on pitch. Then with your right hand, reach over and tune it up as you let off the bending tension till it`s back in tune with no bending. I always had to do this when playing the solo from Spirit - Mechanical World. At least Fender had the good sense to put all the pegs on top so you could do that.
