I wonder if this chick ever saw a guy drat a camel?

Sure watching people get blown to smithereens, can be pretty stomach turning but when your zooming the camera around and you see some haji going to at the back of some camel. That`s, THAT IS when you get a little messed up.

Regardless, Drones are a good thing, drones mean we`re sending less of our troops into the warzone, drones mean better coverage of our troops already in the warzone.

I don`t get the whole disconnect, it`s terrible when a drone causes civilian casualties but when a ac-130 gunship does it, it`s not as bad?

Don`t fear technology, fear the dumb-asses operating it.

I think its more due to the lag-delayed video and terrible visuals, and bureaucratic decision-making that make drones unreliable as combat forces not prone to tragic mistakes. Oh yah, they`re expensive too.

"Don`t fear technology, fear the dumb-asses operating it."

    Now look at yourself.
    Now look at me.
    Now look at the NRA.
Now look at our fellow IAB`ers.

Now look again at that IAB nativity scene post

"Regardless, Drones are a good thing, drones mean we`re sending less of our troops into the warzone"

Which is fine when you`re sending them into warzoness only. However, when you`re also sending them into countries you`re not at war with to commit extra-judicial assassinations that have civilian collateral, then that argument doesn`t hold much water.

I don`t need to hear another drone pilot tell me how they are hurting.

What is difference really between a drone and a manned aircraft killing people? Nothing.
Even manned planes have shot up our own troops by accident.
Drones can stay up much longer than manned aircraft and when they go down you don`t loose a pilot; which are expensive to replace.
I`m sorry the author is having a tough time with what he has experienced but, it is still war.

I imagine quite a few former German concentration camp guards can relate to this. War crimes and crimes against humanity that the operators have a reason to believe are not legal orders. I say hang all the drone operators in international court.

Not that I support war in any form but I have to ask, were we as concerned with civilian casualties during the carpet bombings in WWII?

War, in and of itself, is already a heinous event to be avoided at almost any cost. Trying to make it *Cleaner* will just lead to making it easier to commit without removing any of the "Heinousness" from it.

    Talk about moral depravity.
