Not that he"d ever point a gun at any unprovoked. Probably just standing his ground.

Fact is a losing proposition.....

Cpt. Pedo isn`t name calling in your case you`ve made what you are quite clear in many posts.

@McGovern1981 arguing a losing proposition without the wit to do it with humour, so he`s taken to calling everyone names. I love this guy.

It`s a she said/he said thing. It`s possible that she mentioned the gun to get the police there quicker. Since the gun was found locked, put away and it wasn`t fired, it`s doubtful that charge will stick. As for domestic battery, there doesn`t even have to be any proof of harm done to convict a guy of it.

@SmagBoy1: Didn`t you read @Bakcagain21`s EXCELLENT point?

Just because you`ve been ACCUSED of previous crimes? That not only does NOT mean you`re guilty "this time" - it`s not even ADMISSABLE.

You`ve really "beclowned yourself" this time!

>>He didn`t "point his gun" at Martin, he SHOT him! There`s a legal difference! Two entirely different things.
>>He was ACCUSED of gun-pointing at the ex-wife, but those charges were DROPPED.

Here? He`s accused of, AND charged with, several things. The first part of the trial proceedings is slated for January. This is proper! Speculations like yours are NOT.

Wow, so, as more facts come out, it`s pretty clear that barricaded himself in there and did his whole normal "I didn`t do anything wrong, I`m the victim thing." Yet, once again, just like with his wife, he did, in fact, have a gun with him. Did he aim it as his girlfriend? Well, we`ll never know, but I`m thinking that after we know he aimed one at Martin and have suspicions that he aimed one at his wife and now girlfriend, that, in fact, he`s got a problem with responsible firearm use. But, hey, no worries. The truth will out eventually. I just hope another innocent person doesn`t have to die to prove it.

The people bringing this up, so you`re saying it would be right for the justice system to automatically convict you off crimes for past conduct? or deem people guilty of exonerated charges? If he has committed a crime it has no bearing on past. Especially considering the amount of international pressure and stress that`s placed on him. He would have been in a different mind set. Judge a man on the facts of what happened at the time not on your prejudices....

@Doiknowyou

No it`s because by doing that you still are participating in the conflict all those things put troops there and get them involved in fighting.

@McGovern: Why didn`t you finish the quote? "...joining a number of non-belligerent nations in helping to rebuild the country post-invasion, including the training of Iraqi police and army officers, and contributing approximately $300 million towards this effort." Did you deliberately not finish it because it made your previous comment pointless?

@McGovern: Do you know what the Canadians` role was when we joined? It was basically to keep the peace in the areas where you stirred the poop..."Canada, despite not joining the invading coalition, still participated in the conflict in Iraq, joining a number of non-belligerent nations in helping to rebuild the country post-invasion, including the training of Iraqi police and army officers, and contributing approximately $300 million towards this effort."

Canadian politics? It`s pointless; they don`t seek to apply their laws to other people`s countries, they don`t invade and bomb. Americans ragging on Canadian politics make me laugh. Next time you take a plane and instead of a hot towel and a complimentary glass of champagne, you find yourselves facing down a muslim with an AK-47, you`ll suddenly get all Canadian, eh?

Would the Ford mess actually be considered politics? Or would you like to discuss the recent report from a taxpayer watchdog on the current state of EI? Perhaps the NDP pushing for reforms to the Access to Information Act?

Yepper, aiming a gun at yet *another* unarmed person. But, I know, she probably stalked him and had a bag of Skittles or something.

There is absolutely NO EVIDENCE HERE.

Domestic violence policy is to take the male into custody. He will probably be convicted, though.

Domestic violence is one of the few crimes out there where there doesn`t need to be any proof to be "proven" guilty.

(I am not saying he is guilty or not, jut that it doesn`t matter...he is going down regardless)

Correction: Zimmerman Arrested because GF CLAIMED He Was Pointing Shotgun At Her, Even Though There Was No Other Evidence Whatsoever That He Was.

There, I fixed it.

So: If it`s true he broke the law and did this? Then he deserves to be charged appropriately.

He should be treated exactly as any "average citizen" would be by the law. NOT given another public lynching by the leftist mobs...

Well, the last time? When his (now ex-) wife accused him of something similar? It turned out to be UTTER BULLSHIP and he was completely innocent.

And given the trauma of having his life destroyed by a racism-driven SHOW TRIAL? It`s entirely possible he`s a few cards short of a full deck these days.

Also I suspect `alcohol was involved`.

At this point it`s (once again) "he said, she said" until... wait for it... THE WHOLE STORY COMES OUT!

But I know @ilikelogic and @SmagBoy1 have the "hanging rope" all ready to go! Third time`s a charm boys! You`ll find him guilty of something, eventually! Since you already KNOW he`s guilty... of something...

I supported Zimmerman in the shooting of Martin, but I supported him on the facts that were given, and I still believe Zimmerman to be innocent.

Given the details here, then Zimmerman deserves to be arrested. Should other details of the situation come forth, then I`ll base my judgement upon that.

I`m begging everyone, let`s not do another George Zimmerman discussion. I tried this before to no avail, but one can still dream. Don`t get sucked in. It`s a trap.

So how is the weather where you`re at?

Anyone travel to anywhere cool recently?

That Canadian mayor is a bundle of joy, isn`t he?

What does everyone think of the 50th year anniversary of JFK?
