I understood why Frodo, and the Elves, too, had to leave Middle Earth, but this was very well done and quite enjoyable. :-)

This was an outstanding `overview` of some very interesting bits! 4.1!

While some parts I knew, others I didn`t know. Still more? I didn`t even notice :-)

What we `modern people` see as `homo-oriented` (gayness)? Tolkien and his fellows simply viewed as "buddies". BFF. It was part of their culture: both British and Military, for men to make close bonds with other men, in a NON-sexual way!

Imagine that! Being friends with someone and not bringing sex into the picture: difficult to do in our "modern times" eh?

You doubt this? Consider: Robin Hood. A bunch of guys living together in the forest. Maid Marian was ADDED later...

Anyhow? Part of what makes Tolkien "stand above" other writers is his vision! And if you want to? You can (but don`t `have to`) dig deeper into the story. :-)

My last post until my BIG 20K! Hooray!

My God I have never felt so bored having to listen to one of the many aspects that made Tolkien`s work boring. It actually made me fell as though this guys explanation was making me feel exhausted. Only thing that made sense was the lack of eagle utilization. dratin hell I hate J.R.R. Tolkien.
