    Answering the questions in advance:

    Yes! It`s another ObamaCare post!
Why? Because on Friday Obama LIED AGAIN! He just won`t stop! He told Insurance Companies to BREAK THE LAW, but it`ll be A-OK because the Feds won`t enforce the law!
Then? After that? He asked what the Insurance Companies thought...

Yes! I am a Canadian. Thanks for asking.

No! I will not sit down and shut up. IAB is a free country! Er, website. It`s free and it doesn`t cost anything either!

Yes! 17 Minutes is a long time! But it takes time to tell the truth: only a second to lie.
"You can keep your policy. Period"
Explaining how & why this was a barefaced lie repeated 38+ times takes more than 2 short sentences.

Yes! There`s 19 Links to document the claims of this video. Head to YouTube if you`re interested in that... then come back to IAB of course! :-)

What I find hilarious is that many democrats are upset when people point out how their president lies, but are all too quick to point out when a republican`s president lies.

It`s politics people, EVERYONE LIES UP THERE. Probably the only time they tell the truth is when they say their name, and then there is a 50/50 chance that they are lying about that.

Jeebus effing xrist! The equation isn`t difficult to understand. We aren`t in favor of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. This is just a phase - a painful and expensive one - towards the end goal of universal, single payer health care. What we are working towards is healthcare for all and the end of "healthcare" insurance companies. Health for profit is satanic and we will end the republican/satan care system. And America will begin to reclaim the greatness that neocon/Reagan/Cheney stole from us and the wealth that was stripped from the great American experiment when corporations redistributed our jobs over seas for their own aristocratic wealth. (wait a few seconds).... now read that back with the dramatic music from this video. They are playing with you emotions and your life.

Wouldn`t be in this boat at all if you had just let your President enact a Universal Health Care Program like the rest of the civilized World has. But no...the Republicans had to screw it up and screw it up some more until it`s just a pathetic stab at health care. Now, you want to blame Obama for your screw ups? LOL!

    @tiredofnicks: Excellent .gif!

But I doubt any IAB Liberal Brigade members will actually watch even the first minute of the video. They`ll just "vote 1" and "Move On"...

Let alone actually discuss in a sane or reasonable manner! Re: @Mad_Gremlyn`s post for example.

    Or @patchouly`s offering! Lolz!
Again we ask: HOW did the "Republicans" do anything?

Never wrote one word of it.
Never amended one sentence of it. (Yet!)

Weren`t asked, were ignored ALWAYS by Obama and the Dems.

"Ooo! They SAID they`d filibuster! Wee-Wee-Wee!"

But wasn`t Obama "The Great Uniter" who would END partisan politics in Washington?
    YES HE WAS!
    Before he got elected.
Then it was: "We won." PERIOD!
Remember that famous quote? I sure do.

And what EXACTLY was stopped by ANY DIRECT Republican action? Please link, k-thx.

@patchouly: The democrats had total unified government, they could pass anything they wanted, including the single payer system. Nancy Pelosi already said the reason that Obamacare was chosen and not the single payer was because, in her words, "I wanted to have a bill that accomplished the same things as a single-payer or a public option would do. Even if we couldn`t get the votes in the Senate to do the public option. And I believe we did that." on June 28, 2012 with Ed Schultz.
They couldn`t pull even enough Democrats to support the single payer system no matter how much pork they threw in, thats why they didn`t chose the single payer system to vote on.

Senator Baucus spent two and a half years writing Obamacare as he proudly admits, not a single Republican voted for it which the Dems knew ahead of time, and the Dems voted for it without knowing what was in it. The Democrats own it in every way.

Exactly which Republicans and how did they manage it? The last I heard was that this is Obama`s signature piece of legislation.

BTW I saw the doctor on the 14th and he said I should have an MRI done on my lower back (non emergency). I called yesterday the 15th, and it`s scheduled for the 20th. Let`s see you do that. Oh and yes it`s covered by my insurance (at least until next year when the corporate cancellation letters start going out).

@Mr.Peabody: I`m waiting for an MRI too! Also `non-emergency`. It`s only been a couple of weeks, but I haven`t heard `boo` from the hospital yet.

It is covered though! And the surgery too! But not the $75 "extra billing" I had to pay the surgeon for an appointment... or the $65 for the x-ray...

Funny how the IAB Liberal Brigade, in "Army-Like" fashion, follow orders blindly!

    Marching Orders Until Further Notice:

Republicans did it! It`s not Obama`s fault! Every little thing wrong with the ACA is because... Republicans!

Lets assume that he lied.... the man lied to because he knows what type of scumbags that will oppose his plan to help the people who already have medical conditions whom were not accepted by any health plan or had to pay thousands of dollar that they could not afford on the first place. One thing American should be proud of is public medicine even third world countries provide free health insurance. Doctors and health services are way overpriced in the US and Obama’s plan came to stop it and force reasonable costs for medical services. The difference between Bush’s and Obama’s lies is that Bush cost us billions of dollars and tens of thousands of lives for his hunger for wars versus Obama’s lies to provide public medicine to the AMERICAN people... spending the money here is absouletly the way to go. Give the guy a chance and lets see how things will go. All of sudden you now believe in numbers and you can see w

I think it`s past time for the Republicans to try mitigate the damage that this POS law is going to do to our health care system and the economy. They need to just sit back, watch it crash, and not have their fingerprints on it.

For giggles, tell us your state so I can look on the exchange and check your numbers. I looked up Sussex County NJ for under 50 year old and found plenty of policies way cheaper than $450/mo. BEFORE subsidies, which you would surely qualify for. Even a Platinum plan was less than $450/mo but I don`t know your state so I just picked one I thought would be expensive, like one near Manhattan.

Instead of spreading lies about it, I wish conservatives would just get behind it .

If it IS as terrible as they say, then it will fail all on it`s own without the lies and the sabotage.

But that`s the true issue..... It`s NOT that bad and it WON`T fail if left to itself.

Republicans are immoral; democrats are incompetent.

Neither side will listen to the other`s valid argument, nor negotiate to a mutually acceptable outcome.

This means that if one side attains the upper hand for the foreseeable future, then the losing side will feel oppressed.

There will be no possible outcome, but succession and/or civil war.

This will be fun to watch.

Name ONE THING Republicans did to "force Obama to lie".

@RoboPatton: You are correct sir! That family was up to no good! Probably Tea Party Terrorists!

@SleepyHallow: WHY should they "get behind" a plan that`s BAD for America? They`re THE OPPOSITION PARTY! It`s their J-O-B to only back what`s good, not what`s f`d up!

The only part of the video I liked was the point Obama saying a larger pool of people increases the bargaining rates. Which is 100% true. The joke a bout that part of the video was how it was implying that Congress doesn`t have the same insurance as everyone else. Which is true. Just like how my personal insurance isn`t the same as Obamacare. My insurance is better. Congress has better insurance plans. That doessn`t mean they are saying you will have the same healthcare, they are trying to make it possible that ou can get affordable great insurance. But whatever.

Also the very beginning where it states "Obamacare" the name given by supporters and detractors" LOL it was made up by the conservatives first and it stuck. It was supposed to be condescending.
They sure do preach about invasions of freedom. Repubs and Dems are quiet about the Patriot Act, Citizens united. NEITHER side represents the average American. Quit acting like the ACA is the

Primary legislation we should be worried about for protecting our freedoms. I named 2 that are cleary stronger conservative arguments and winnable but then again there are no "TRUE Conservatives" in Congress except maybe Paul? In anycase The reason why I can`t support the GOP is because they can`t support SIMPLE WINNABLE conservative ideals and/or they don`t support them, IE they aren`t conservatives. They are the wealthy class trying to keep the wealthy wealthy and the poor poor.

I have an MRI story too!

I twisted my knee (same knee that I had surgery on to repair a torn ACL previously) last winter and, without an appointment, went straight to the VA Hospital. My doctor saw me about 45 minutes after I checked in and fearing I had torn my ACL again ordered an MRI which was done about an hour and a half after he punched it into the computer. I was given pain meds, since it hurt like a motherf*cker, and sent home to await the results which I got later that evening saying it wasn`t torn, only sprained. All of this was done at absolutely no out-of-pocket cost to me.

That`s how the evil socialist VA Healthcare system works for me in NY.

I specifically said it was non emergency. If it had been something possibly life threatening, It would have been done before I left the doctor`s office. As for it being totally free, you are lying just like Obama. Let`s see your tax statement, and you show me where you do not pay an exorbitant amount for your `free` healthcare.

You wonder why people have hard time getting preventative care, because people on insurance especially Large Group, MediCare, TRICARE use these services far too often. Note all three of these are paid for in some way by the government. More red tape and mandates is NOT the answer.

Who`s having a hard time getting preventative care? Every guy I know waits until he has a major problem before he goes to see a doctor, I WISH they would go for checkups earlier but they would rather avoid knowing things. I usually go once a year for my checkup but this year I had to get a benign tumor cut out of my arm last month. No problem scheduling appointments of my choice for the cut and the stitches removal later. I have a high deductible plan to have a low premium so I paid the discounted amounts out of pocket. Big whoop.

@MrPeabody, feeling light headed would be equally non emergency. As for the taxes, I would bet we still pay a load less than Americans do with insurance premiums, quick google tells me the lowest income rates are around the same, and the higher ones only differ by about 10% - it`s more effective cost sharing than simply only providing tax assisted care (medicare and what not) to the poor. There`s less resentment when your income tax pays for everyone.
