"This guy needs to read a little about the subject in whatever Psych 101 class that he attended. "

In college, I took Psych 100 AND Psychology of Personality and have taken the Meyers Briggs test several times. This description is essentially what I was taught. Don`t know where you get your understanding of what introverts are like.

Technically, I`m an introvert because I need to get away from interactions to regain my energy but I love to perform, always sit in the front row and raise my hand to volunteer and around people I can be quite "extroverted" when I want to be. It`s not appearances that defines a person and there`s a whole spectrum between a true introvert and true extrovert. It`s all in how your energy flows.

That was ridiculous. I choose to be introverted for one reason: I hate people.

@Timbrebander

I`m sorry you are feeling marginalized. Welcome to the internet!

By the way, Super Saiyans are a real thing. Bill Nye did it this year on DWTS

Now go back to your hipster-douchebag psychology ranting.

Marginalized?

You bust in and lash out at people and claim that you`re the victim?

That is some impressive logic you have there.

I`ve never considered myself an introvert but I do find socializing exhausting and boring - mainly because no one has anything funny or interesting to say and do not like to drink like I do. Also people with psychological and marital problems are drawn to me like moths to a lamp. I guess I have that kind of face? Yeah, I hate people.

"some of my coworkers need to go out and do something after work to let their steam off, they find staying in makes them listless and depressed."

And they usually don`t understand those of us that need to get away from people for a while.

Calm down now, I don`t think they are giving the clinical diagnosis here. This looks like something from Tumblr and is mostly just to help other`s understand what it feels like.

We`re not Super Saiyans actually leeching energy off of each other, but I find social interaction very draining. I spend all day dealing with the public and so when I get home I just want to tuck away in my room and not talk to anyone. I need recharge, quiet, me time while some of my coworkers need to go out and do something after work to let their steam off, they find staying in makes them listless and depressed.

Wow this is the most bullpoo I have ever seen. This guy needs to read a little about the subject in whatever Psych 101 class that he attended. Being generous that`s assuming that he`s ever actually studied the intro-extrovert concept beyond pop psychology which I kinda doubt.
