mcssis: Well, if you look at a map, right above `Murrica is a country called "Canada." Over on the right side is a "province" called Quebec (Keh-bek`). I`ll let you take it from there.

"OMG. That is NOT cool!"

Like hell it isn`t!!! :D That was awesome!

And yeah, I can almost guarantee the "POP" was a transformer (especially since the house`s lights went off right then.) BUt it was still just a bit of a poof ... usually a transformer blowing (at least the ones we have in the states) make a very VERY big boom, not a poof.

Looks like an arc between the primary & the neutral, I`ve seen them travel down the line like that before. The explosion at the end is probably from the arc hitting a transformer.

Large ball of destructive and awesome electricity coming. I`ll stand by the window because I have a video-camera and that makes me immune to the laws of physics.

What the heck I wrong with Quebec`s power system? It seems like weird stuff happens there a lot.

This video is so weird, it`s just mind-melting!

This looks like Ball lightning traveling down a power line, especially the way it explodes at the end, probably smelled like sulfur afterward.

That may well be indicative of a problem, you think?
