now that you mention it, when i was a kid my orthodontist and dentist were both women, and thinking back on it i dont think ive ever had a guy clean my mouth or anything before. and now that im thinking about it, yeah i would be super uncomfortable with a guy having his hands in mouth mouth. theres something about having a womans hands in my mouth thats kind of arousing. i think i just figured out why i didnt mind going to the dentist as a kid.

I have cleaned several sets of teeth on so many different people, and I would say I am pretty gentle at what I do.. I do my best by getting my patient to relax by calmly talking to them, and I explain everything that I am going to do before I do it...They are nervous enough to be there in the first place, and one of the last places most people want to be is sitting in a dental chair for any reason...I also work with a lot children which I think can be the some of the hardest patients to get to cooperate. With kids it takes a certain degree of finess to get them to sit and trust you enough to work in their mouth..I am usually pretty successful at it...I guess what I am trying to say is.. I think scared children and adults tend respond very well with women...

I have really yucky teeth and gums, and I sometimes have to restrain myself from biting my dental professionals. Oh, and the pink unis crack me up.

I usually prefer women dentists because they have smaller fingers and don`t rip your face open. One male dentist I visited was built like a prop-forward and had fingers like Cumberland sausages. Not a pleasant experience.

My dentists have almost always been guys and my dental hygenists always women. I once had a female dentist and that was fine (she was also rather cute and Singaporean but that doesn`t make me a bad person).

But, yeah, if I went for a clean up and got a burly guy I`d be uncomfortable.

    That`s sick, isn`t it?
