Utter bull$#!+. The United States takes in more LEGAL immigrants than the entire rest of the world COMBINED.

And no, your beer is not pisswater, it`s pure piss. That`s why you drink it warm, because that`s how it comes from the "tap."

Nice handle, BTW, it truly fits you.

And none american wars? Even at the cost of our own culture?
You mean the wars you also partook in? Funny how they like to put their head in the sand about that.... "And none american wars?" Not even sure what that means.
May it be the overall superior healthcare, education and not having a 2 political system?
Don`t know what country you live in but a place the supports royalty via a tax which is numerous in Europe shouldn`t be giving political advise.

Like said Calrsberg, Tuborg... I`ll go further Heineken, stella artois and Amstel to name a few shall I continue?

"She claimed that congressman Steve Stockman of Texas, "actually received advance notice that the Oklahoma City bombing was going to happen."

Never heard that. Just googled it:

The next show she issued an apology:

"On Monday, I said that Mr. Stockman`s notice from the militia movement about the Oklahoma City bombing was advance notice. It wasn`t in advance, it was right after the bombing. I apologize for the misstatement. It was an editing error and it was mine alone."

She made a mistake. She owned up to it. These people aren`t perfect. I never said she was.

It doesn`t get much more "Pants On Fire" than that and is just one of the dozens of false claims she`s made.

"She is the snarkiest, distortionist, lying, smarmy, idiot that MSNBC has."

I get that she could come off as snarky and sarcastic, just like maher.

As far as idiot, whether or not you agree with her she is brilliant.

As far as lying, we disagree on what the facts are YES? So of course you think she is lying as I think hannity is lying. The difference is maddow backs up her statements with cited sources almost constantly.

"Per, Wikipedia."

Yes sir. Comcast bought 51% from GE in 2011. Then bought the rest in 2013. GE does NOT own NBC anymore, although they absolutely used to. As I said, and you argued with, comcast owns NBC.

She is the snarkiest, distortionist, lying, smarmy, idiot that MSNBC has. She lies through her smiley white teeth and expects everyone to believe her. She has to have learned this tactic from Bill Clinton and Keith Olbermann.

Per, Wikipedia.

"the same Steve Jobs of Microsoft"

Oops, okay I messed that part up, Sorry.
But Bob Iger is still a big democrat campaign contributor. As was Steve Jobs when he was alive.

I`ll have to do a documentary called, "The Brainwashing of My Kids". At least I can accurately claim that my children are not fully capable of understanding the left-wing propaganda in their textbooks and espoused by their teachers and professors. This documentary, on the other hand, is just rude and disrespectful to a perfectly sane adult man who can think for himself. This woman should have been spanked more when she was a child. She comes off as a disrespectful brat.

Wow. I so agree. If someone on talk radio or TV has opinions you don`t agree with, well, they need to be shut up, maybe even locked up. And it`s amazing how her dad was so much more infinitely capable of being an informed voter before he "started reading the newspaper and listening to the radio" `cause those devil information sources that you can use to try to figure out what`s going on are simply going to turn you away from the path of absolute agreement with me.

"So what your saying is it`s also publicly traded."

No. what I am saying is it is actively owned, run, and managed by 1 person. None of the others are.

"I`m mean really have you ever read or watched some crap MSNBC spews out it just as bad as Fox."

I don`t really watch either much. However I can tell you that when I watch rachel maddow after almost everything she says she puts up a stat, source, or graphic to back up her statement. I can`t say that I`ve veer seen hannity do that. He just says something and moves on as if it is gospel.

Also I find maddow to be pleasant, positive, and engaging. Hannity seems angry and agressive.

Perhaps THAT is why I find FOX to be so distasteful.

Am I wrong about those two comparisons in your opinion?

"NBC is owned by GE, the company making billions of dollars on wind turbines."

NO. NO THEY ARE NOT. Comcast bought controlling interest in NBC in 2011, and totallly in 2013. Look things up before you argue. BTW, GE makes more from the oil industry than it does from wind turbines, just FYI.

"Steve Jobs owns the biggest chunk"

"Owns", you know he is dead right?

"the same Steve Jobs of Microsoft"

WHAT THE F.UCK? Is that a joke? Steve Jobs founded Apple, I don`t know of any interest he had in microsoft. Are you talking about Steve Ballmer?

HG: NBC is owned by GE, the company making billions of dollars on wind turbines.

ABC is owned by Disney, which is ran by Bob Iger. Steve Jobs owns the biggest chunk, the same Steve Jobs of Microsoft that is politically collaborated with MSNBC. Both are big democrat campaign contributors.

CNN was founded by Ted Turner. Turner is a well known liberal and he stuffed CNN with like minded people decades ago.

CBS is owned by Sumner Redstone, another well known democrat campaign contributor.

I don`t agree with that assessment McGovern. I don`t think they are all liberal. You find unique reporting on all of them at times and yes at times they parrot each other. I wouldn`t lump them all together though and paste a large Ambiguous word to all of them like "liberal". They are all separate entities with different objectives (at least one would think). I could be wrong but I`m not into the whole conspiracy of the all the medias working together for some elite group to control the masses.

@papa At the same time seeing that the "crazies" are in fact in power and have congressional seats one can only be fearful of them ACTUALLY gaining more ground in congress. I agree that the extremism on both sides should be flat out belittled and shunned because let`s face it extremists will get us into trouble no matter which side is promoting it.

However debating current issues (IE Healthcare for all) This is a non issue. America is behind the rest of the world with this. Is the AFA the best idea? No. Is it a step in the right direction? Absolutely.

I have a family member that couldn`t get insurance before (pre existing condition cancer). Her medical bills are ridiculous 400,000 when she makes 30k a year. How in the world is anyone supposed to pay that back? In Canada, she wouldn`t owe half or even a quarter of that, she could actually "afford" quality HC in Canada. Our system before AFA was wrong and needed changing. It`s not done chan

I agree McGovern. Neither party has it for the Average joe. I define Average American Joe as an individual making between 25-50k a year. I do believe the majority of people in this country are poor to middle class (Middle class anyone making more than 50k a year and less than 200k.) I`m hard pressed to find anyone in Congress that supports that demographic. I`m a more left leaning individual but I do not support the Democratic party out right. I try to pick my poisons within my line of thinking. What I do find is the Republican party is mostly backwards on a lot of issues. The one thing I do agree with is a balanced budget. I don`t support their version of one though, I support the idea. Currently Republicans simply want to shift spending away from the poor people and move it towards our military complex and people like the Koch brothers. I want to support a more conservative thinking group but man the Republicans make it easy for someone like me (a moderate/independent) to n

Oh this made my pockets hurt. If this is how the left sees the right then the left clearly has no idea about what a conservative thinks. Seriously, this could not be further off track. It`s not brain-washing or being a "sheeple" to gravitate towards people who have similar values. As a conservative, I care not not what what you think but I do care when your actions promote policy that takes away the very freedom to chose any political beliefs you want (see North Korea). I say we, as a people, need to gravitate away from the extremists on both sides because that`s where the dramatic misunderstandings on both sides come from, IMHO. I say this because I can see in the comments even on IAB that at times both sides want the same thing but come at it from vastly different angles. But hidden in between the ranting is understanding if you look hard enough.

You know Fox is a running joke in Europe, the stuff they say and how they say it is just like a joke. The frightening thing is that it seems like the right is already so dumbened that they actually believe what that Onion-wannabe. You can`t tell them apart. Idiocrazy.

Funny how I don`t see very many FW FW FW FW emails in my inbox from the left, but constantly see them from family members from the right who are willing to forward misinformation and not bother to research it as if it is the gospel truth - or willing to think (like you) that anything that disagrees with you must be a liberal conspiracy.

@ Som-tam: That peculiar interpretation of the documentary would make perfect sense if the mother of the "precious little princess," as you call her, somehow had also gotten her head full of "Marxoid ideas" (again, your words).

You seem to be carrying an awful lot of bile around there, Som-tam. How many hours a day do *you* spend listening to talk radio rants about worthless black people and liberal f*cktards? Just curious.

Daddy`s precious little princess spends her entire life in the left wing propaganda machine aka full time education, probably did some sort of media course at college, and when she`s spat out the other end with all her mind full of marxoid ideas about `social justice` she accuses her dad, without the slightest hint of irony, of being `brainwashed`.
This video would be laughable if there wasn`t the sad fact that someones daughter now has a very distorted view of her father: `he really loveD me` notice the past tense and how she emphasises how good a man he was by his affection to her.

"LOL at the idea that the Liberals DON`T brainwash."
-----

It`s true. As a liberal Atheist, I am constantly acquiring knowledge, adjusting my opinions and learning. No opinion is fixed (well, maybe that whole silly fairy tale about the sky wizard...) and I am always open to new data. I listen to everything. I ask questions. I formulate an opinion, not based on what one side has said, but by analyzing what both sides have said.

On the other side of the coin, the right wing seems stuck on a fixed point. Their opinions are based on Bible quotes and hate. They grow up feeling superior and their opinions need to match other Conservatives in order to maintain that air of superiority. If they have even one opinion that differs from the rest, they are cast out of the club. Case in point: I can find you a liberal that hates Obama, can you find me a Conservative who doesn`t?

I`ve been submitting political posts these past two days only as a response to the NONSTOP BARRAGE of right-wing vitriol from 5Cats.

You might suggest that I just ignore the right-wing political posts. I`ve been trying to. But by not responding to the propaganda and by continuing to participate on the site, I feel complicit in this crap. Quite honestly, I don`t want to be associated with a website that promotes right-wing, divisive, poisonous content on a daily basis.

KEY POINT: Frankly, I just want to come onto an entertainment website to have fun--not to wage battles against one person`s obsessions and hatreds, day in and day out.

Not to sound grand, but this is why I`m on the verge of leaving IAB. (And yes, I`m well aware that this revelation will provoke several snarky "See ya!" responses.)

ABSOLUTELY

However pundits, the "best" ones, have an extreme view on things and therefore push their listeners and viewers farther form the center. That is why punditry is bad.

So someone might start listening to rush because they are a moderate conservative, but after years of listening they will be WAY farther right than when they started out.

I came to this video legitimately concerned and left frustrated because it`s not about brainwashing.. it`s an attack on the right. that`s all it is. How shameful. what a waste of time, and why can`t the right say anything about the left? the left talks hsit all day every day in the USA. I kind of feel like people may next persecute me for my beliefs in hardwork and equal opportunity without the need for government every step of the way. I think this whole left right thing is starting to get rediculous. People should really rally together and take care of the bigger issues, our politicians (BOTH SIDES) who saunter into their lives but claim that they are waging our battles of ideal. When in reality it appears that all are in cahoots and just putting on a show. Fun fact: The Government "shutdown" has happened many times in our nation`s history; only this time 60 % of fereal employees still report to work. Obama is shutting fun things down because he is a mean old man.
